You mean the way they stand? Nah, they're both wolfish to me, although Balto should not have been howling in WoC. He didn't howl in B1 or WQ, around wolves, so why in WoC around huskies?

I meant around huskies XD. Apart from that scene and the one on the final dash to Nome, he doesn't howl.

Well, the wolf they were going to hire as a voice actor thought the pay was too low, and nobody else wanted to do it. xP
LOL, sorry. Um, anyway, I'm the type of person who usually fails to notice the difference between voice actors (by that I mean things like different actors for one character), which is why Balto's changed voice in the sequels didn't bother me (Jenna's, however, did -_-). So, IMO, it's either the way some people hear the howling, or simply different voices for each character equalling different howls. What some people see as cartoony, others may not, so you can't really say one particular character has an unrealistic howl even if it sounds that way to you.

In Balto 1 an actual wolf howl was recorded from a real wolf and used for both Balto and the White Wolf. In WQ and WoC it was an imitation made by the voice actors that was used.

Yeah I hate the cartoonish howls I like the real ones better Uhh, then why did you say B1 Balto's howls were cartoonish like Aleu's?

I like the howls in the first Balto. They sounded pretty real to me. But in the second one you can tell Aleu's howling is an imitation from the actress(especially when shes howling when Muru sings). I did not like Jenna's howling though in WoC. When I heard it I though she sounded ridiculous. No offense Jenna. XD
