Why does Kodi likes so much his job?
And why Balto is so attached on Duke the pilot?

1.Kodi is a husky,all huskies like their job.
2.Duke must be a first one that is good to Balto.

well we don't know if ALL huskies like their jobs but he probably feels important (kodi)

balto is a fast runner so he's probably fascinated by flying because of the speed and the view

Yeah! Huskies are bred to pull and Duke is the first human to be nice to Balto at a first meeting

I guess Kodi just feels wanted and useful when he's doing his job, and Duke was just a nice good person to Balto, so why wouldn't he like him?

Kodi wants to be a runner and help people (he says he wants to help in the scene in the big shed where he decides to go after Balto to help Duke).

Balto's dream is to fly, and there is this plain belonging to a man named Duke. And Duke is nice to Balto, not only can Balto see it but can feel it. He also feels that Duke is taking part in the race not to kick the dogs out of their job but to help.

Kodi is commited to his job. It's something he loves to do.

I don't think Balto is connected to Duke. I just think Balto admires him because he can fly and Balto has wanted to know what it's like to fly.

I believe the reason that Kodi likes his job so much is because that is what Balto did, and Kodi looks up to Balto. The fact that what he is doing is helping people probably brings him joy as well.

I think that Balto may have had a small connection to Duke, but I'm sure that he was very interested in flying in the plane, so that gave Balto even more of a reason of why to go after him.

Balto wants to fly.. and Duke quoted him on wanting to be up in the sky.. free. So I suppose Balto feels he has a connection with Duke.

And as for Kodi.. well, he wants to keep up his proud heritage and follow in his father's footsteps.. pawprints. Also, as vikingwolf said, Kodi is a husky and huskies love to work.

Kodi likes it,because it's in his blood for running just like Balto.
Balto is acttected 'cause Duke is a nice man and his plane gets crashed.
