sorry, in anycase, I think muru means well, I only think otherwise on occasion because of a certain someone's fan fic which projects him as being selfish and mean when it comes to Aleu's happiness, but thats a whole other topic entirely.

Yes... he howls with her at the end... but he is like a spirit guide for a short time, untill she gets on track finding out who she is. I think he is bound to all those creatures that are bound to Aniu or the White Wolf.
