Well I FINALLY got to see this wonderful movie on monday and I loved it. This was really a step up from WQ and happy to see that. Only one think I noticed about this that made me a little sad is the fact that even though it does show Kodi at parts, I dont believe it like showed him a lot at all. Everytime it happen to show him, it was only for a short period of time and on top of that he barely said/did anything but nod his head, or speak very few words. I thought this story would somewhat about Balto and Kodi, but it turned out to be more about Balto, Duke, and a dream to reach the sky's in a way.
I even think Stella got more movie time then Kodi did and well, to me, that was just bad 'cause she was really annoying. In the movie, a few other characters seem to have more part of this movie then Kodi and its almost sad in a way, cause I was looking forward to seeing him a lot like they did with Balto and Aleu, but without the magic crap. Overall I just think Kodi should of had been shown a least a little more, does anyone else think that? Like maybe bigger sences with him other then the few parts he does got? (Wont name them so I dont spoil anything xP)

he should have been shown only a lot more! since he IS balto's son and he IS on the cover of the box. i agree, that they should have cut stella completely out, boris didn't need a "girlfriend". all her parts could have been more Kodi time, since kodi is so much more related to the original character than stupid, obnoxious stella and duke, all his screentime with balto was very uneeded as well.

Stella wasn't really needed in the plot at all in the first place. and I suppose it would have been and caught more interest if they concentrated on Kodi more but you know Universal and other companies don't really focus and work hard on a movie. Just want to make quick money off it and close the project off completely. They didn't even advertise it properly. I had no idea there was a B3 till i came online and onto BS I totally agree! I haven't knew B3 until I had join this website.

the thing that bugged me the most was the characters and their voices.....I know it sounds kind of picky but yeah. everything was weird, the voices sounded allot different, and the characters changed allot. This follows along with Balto WQ. It's still a good movie but those are the only thing's that annoy me in those two movies.

I just got a chance to see this today. My history of animation professor sent it to me (I wrote a paper on the first one and he was nice enough to let me borrow the other 2), I loved the first movie, and I thought the second one was absolutely horrific. I'm glad that I watched this one though because even though the animation was awful compared to the first one, the story was a lot better than the second one and the animation was slightly better too (not saying much).
Stella was horrible, but I liked Kody and I'm glad that Balto wasn't as much of a wuss as he was in the second one. Overall a pretty good movie.

The thing about Balto 3 is that it's just a matter of digressing too much from what is intended, if the director thought that Balto 3 should be about how good Stella is then why even bothered adding Kodi to the storyboard? I know that Stella is originally created as a diversion for the film but it seems the director thinks that she somehow deserves more screening (plus the jazzy, cheesy theme music) and Kodi gets about only a half of what her time with no theme music whatsoever.
The film, as Jonathan_wolf pointed out, concentrates a whole lot on Stella and Boris, with occasional scenes of Balto and even less screening on Kodi. If I'm right, the only exception which Kodi gets more screening is at the near-end where the past is reminisced and when Kodi saves Balto from falling, aside from that, I can't remember anything else but Kodi making brusque remarks in short scenes.
Looking back at Balto and its second sequel, I can't help but think that Wings of Change got the worst possible scripts.
