Last month under-cover BBC reporters explored the illegal act of dog-fighting.

A full report of the story along with the film is available here:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/p ... 962563.stm

You can download and watch the video however please note, the images are very graphic and some viewers may find them very disturbing. Prepare yourself for unbelievable animal-cruelty and some of the most horrific things you've ever heard.

I'd check with your parents first if you're under 16.

I watched it but it was so sad and shocking that I had to look away some times..

This just shows you how extreme dog-fighting is and just how easy it is to get hold of a real fighting dog. :(

The dog-fighters, right? Not the BBC?

It's sick that the dog-fighters call it a sport..

I credit the BBC for going undercover and managing to discover some of the top Pitbull fighters and actually managing to arrest them. The programme really gave a true insight into what dog-fighting is really about and just how big it is. Although I wish they'd said what happened to Nipper and Cannonball.. and they should have also shown what Pittys can be like when not trained to fight. Though they certainly showed that it was the dog-fighters that more or less invented the breed.

The dog fighters yes. I'm happy how they arrested some of the top fighters. It just sickening how they fought those two ten month old pups...
