No Universal shouldn't make a Balto TV show. Mainly since DrewtheWolf is making a show

No. Sorry to anyone who'd like it, but my tastes have become unforgiving over the years. I'd constantly be comparing it to the movie, which I doubt it would rival, and I'd just wind up disappointed.

Not many animated films have been turned into worthwhile cartoon series, IMO, so no....not unless they actually were willing to put effort into making it good...and there are many ways it could be, I just predict that it'd probably wind up mostly being the usual cornball stuff...

If Universal did make a Balto show, then it would probably be all cute and kiddie with no real substance - which would not do the original film justice. I do like the idea of Drew's Balto: The Series idea. From the looks of the trailer, it actually looks like something serious.

It's very hard to make a good animated series, simply because it's much longer than a normal movie and they have to find a storyline which must last long. Oh, I never said it was easy to make a good animated series. But that's just it--I agree with Canis Lupus. I have a strong feeling that if they made a "Balto: The Series" it would be a disappointment. Same characters, but with rushed animation and the same sort of cheesy, overly childish plotlines you can find in any other cartoon NOT based on a great film. It COULD have potential, but I think for the most part it wouldn't be worth it...much as I'd like to see more of the characters I love and their daily lives, the main Balto story has already been told, and when they start going beyond that it often gets....a little on the lame side...:/ It would probably be quite difficult to keep coming up with good plots episode after episode.

Kiddiness never bothered me really. It's just unseriousness that bothered me. Balto 1 was a kid's movie, but it has an overall serious tone. Sometimes though, they do things which just aren't necessary, like add rainbows and sparkles. That detracts from the seriousness.

Balto series?
EW.
NO.
It'll most likely be with rushed animation and crappy storylines and a buttload of cheesy characters and horrible songs. That isn't Balto.

That likley would happen, but since DrewtheWolf is making an seires, this shouldn't be crapy like the rest of the crappy movie based tv shows.

I intend to make the fan-series as well animated as possible. As everyone knows I do not like cheap animation, so we will surely be trying our best. If you would like to know more on the project check out our page here, the fan-project page or our site at http://ruskiehuskie.org/rh
