The other day I moved my DVD player with a disk still in it, as I tilted it the disk slipped to he back and got stuck. I bumped and shook it and tried to open the tray but I had no success.

The next day we took I to the repair shop where the cover was removed with the proper screw-driver.

The player is fine but unfortunately the disk had a split in it and was destroyed. It was a library disk so I will probably have to pay for it, which I deserve.

It is a fairly cheap DVD player a Philips DVP3020, so this may be the reason but it is good in other respects.

But to be on the safe side remove any disks when moving your DVD player!

Maybe you should've considered taking the DVD out of the player before moving it.

LOL, it's not everyday where you move yer DVD player and a DVD splits into two! :lol:

I'm pretty sure she's moved it HUNDREDS of times without problem ;)


Anyways, I have more of an expensive one, I think around $145. I still move the disks inside it when I move it room-to-room. I guess it's just the brand, no?


The brand probably dise have somthing to do with it-but I is probably better to remove it anyway-just in case.

because it was about movies I guess- sometimes it is difficult to know where to palace topics. They fit in more than one place, anyway I do agree it is better here agree, thanks for moving it Togo!
