I have epilepsy, and about 1 in 200 have it so there are probably other BS members who have it.

http://apt.rcpsych.org/cgi/content/full/10/5/341My EpilepsyI believe I have Asperger’s syndrome which may have caused my epilepsy
(See link 4, and/or the quote below or link 5)

(From link 5)
Over a third of people with autistic-spectrum disorders develop epilepsy, the risk being linked to the degree of developmental delay and receptive language deficit. There is no specific study of epilepsy in Asperger syndrome, although the relatively normal ability and language suggest that the risk is lower, possibly 5–10%, and that it is more likely to start later, in adolescence or early adulthood.
I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 18-at the start of puberty.
My seizures(See link3)
Tonic-ColonicI don’t have too many of the Tonic-Colonic seizures now but when I do get them I lose consciousness and may fall down, go rigid, twitch and gnash my teeth.
Afterwards I may be very determined to do something and can be quite strong. I am confused dizzy and usually have a sleep and lose my appetite.
I don’t have any recollection of the seizure.
Most of my seizures are absences or a form of partial seizures and I am currently having them nearly every day.
In Absences: I may simply go into a daydreaming state.
In Partial SeizuresI may appear to be daydreaming be unable to speak properly, I don’t usually speak but if I do I speak gibberish.
I cannot read, understand speech or think properly.
In the more severe ones I may retch or even vomit
Recovery and after effects can be tiredness, and appetite loss
There is a lot more to say, but I will add it later.
Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions-I don’t get embarrassed!
