Okay I've had my pitbull for about seven months now, shes ten months and her name is Gucci, recently we got a white kitten named Mr. Gummi Bear (or Mizery Guts xD) who is 13 weeks old, when we got him he was still suckleing (sp?) off his mother and about two days ago he started suckleing (sp?) off of Gucci we thought it was amazing because as most of you probably know Pittys have a really bad name and are 'known' for attacking other animals and people, yet here our Pit is mothering a 13 week old kitten anyways I got some dodgey photos as 'proof' I will try and getter better ones as he does it quite often, but tell me what you think about it!

Aawww, so cute. Pit Bulls are like hyenas - they do not deserve their bad rap. You're so lucky to have them both!

When in New Zealand I Voulenteer at a SPCA animal shelter, there is a pitbull/lab cross called Loki She licks kittens and would never intentionally hurt one but she might lick one to death!

Gucci and Mizzy are doing great together, Gucci actually carries him round by the scruff of the neck now and if he does something wrong she scolds him like a real mother would do! I think its so adorable but most of my friends think its disgusting (sp?) and weird. I'm glad Im not the only one whodoesnt think its awesome!

That's actualy not as rare in the animal kingdom as some people might think. :] There are a few wild animals that even take others of a different speicies and will raise them as their own. (Such as that one lioness and the antealope [.. or at least I'm pretty sure that's what the other animal was]). Even my own dog has tried to take care of kittens and let them nurse off of her - which was humorus since she never has any milk. lmao.

And on a flip side, this just shows even more that pits don't deserve the bad reputation they have gotten. If you raise them right, they'll be sweeties like yours. :]

And now... I want to steal the kitten. =P

xD he's gone so fat off her milk but when I try to move him away from Gucci she just walks back over to him and snuggles him up to her

Loki has a great home where she is well loved. She's good with other dogs though can be a bit boisterous.
