I am obviously new, and just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and tell you all why I'm here.

I am Lux. You can call me that or Marina, which is my pen name. Yes,I write. I won't say I'm a great writer, but I try. If you want to kill some time, I have some of my stuff up at fictionpress.com/~marinacanton. (are we allowed to post links on here? I didn't see it mentioned in the rules, but if not, just tell me and I'll edit it.)

Anyway, onto Balto- it's my favorite animated movie ever. I remember being invited to go see it for someone's birthday when I was six, and crying when it snowed so much overnight that my mom couldn't back the car out of the driveway, much less get to the theater. And that was the first time I tried to run away. I got on my boots, stuffed my coat with packets of gummy-animals, and headed for the door. Determined as I was to see Balto, I only made it to the end of the street.

So once the snow melted, I dragged my mom to the theater, and immediately fell in love. I mean, I knew I would love it the moment I saw the previews- but wow!

It's been among my top favorite movies ever since.

So, here I am.
