I LOVE doing that!XD It's so fun. I would love to have a horse, I've been riding for about seven years sooo I really want one!XD

About the names, they usually already have names. The reason why their names are long (example: Rosa Taco Value) is because, as a tradition, people combine the names of the sir and the dam to create the foal's name.

Names that I like :

Sweet Hot Fuzz

Her Eternal Star

Mizzee Wind Caller

Here are some names I like:
Before The Moment
Dancer Of Flames
Soul Dancer
Midnight's Courage

XD I'm really bad at naming things, but I'll jot a few suggestions down:

Saturn's Rings
Dark Hill Spirit
Flaming Ashes
Swirling Stream
Crescent Moon
Autumn Colors ((or Autumn Hues))

That's all I can think of at the moment...

Ironically, I told my father to look for a purebred, solid black Thoroughbred mare.

I have a tip for you. Don't buy a thoroughbred, unless you're an experienced rider. Buy a horse that suites for begginer's, like a quarter horse, or a six year old horse or older. 'Cause I don't think you'd want to handle a young horse that is still learning to forgive others.

Names:

Midnight's Shimmer
Eternal Star
Day's Beauty
Golden Rose
World's Hope

Can't think of any other for the moment.

hmm, this sounded cool to me, how about Starchaser or Stargazer, those sound like awesome names for a horse. you could always call it "Star" for short that way if you wanted to.

Why do you want that kind of name?
It sounds like a book or a film..

Personally I'd name my horse after it's appearance or personality.
