The Lion King sequels are very good for DTV films. However, if you had to make a choice, which would you say is better?
I'd vote for Simba's Pride, personally. The third film was good, but it lacked the novelty that made the first sequel so special.

What do you think?

For sheer meaning and depth, I think TLK 2 was better. But in sheer terms of comedy, 1 1/2 wins by a landslide. Heck, I wrote an entire story based on one scene!

Oh goodness. Do I even have to post anything here? TLK 2 was by far better, simply because of the plot. The animation was great in both of them, but personally, Timon and Pumbaa are not my favorite characters. If I could get rid of anyone in the movie, it'd be them.

I disagree there. They may have lacked some of the character depth that Simba and the other characters had, but they were indispensable as comedy relief and a vital part in the lesson of the original movie, in some sense. Now in TLK2, they were somewhat diminished, but they were still at least somewhat valuable for sheer loyalty.

Psh, TLK2, haha. I found TLK 1 2/2 very boring, annoying too. It wasn't even about Simba and such, just about Timon and Pumba. T_T

Without any doubt,I'd go with Lion King 2.

I'd definitely go with Simba's Pride as the better sequel!

I like all 3 films, but I voted for The Lion King 1 1/2, because it's my favorite. It goes to show that Timon is much more than comic relief. In many ways, he makes a great protagonist for the franchise, I guess it's because he's so small and meek.

Simba's Pride, hands down. It's got a good message, and I like the songs >>
