When Opal and her father, who is a preacher AKA 'the Preacher' move to a remote town In Florida, called Naomi, opal feels lonely.
But then she finds a stray dog at a Winn-Dixie supermarket-and names him after the supermarket.
Winn-Dixie helps opal make friends, and they have fun together, but the landlord doesn’t like Winn-Dixie.
He insists that they find him a new home by the end of the summer.
Will opal be able to convince him to left hem keep him?
And will Opal’s dad ever tell opal about her Mother and why she left them when Opal was 3?
This is a great movie, I give it 9/10, and it’s funny and heart-warming.

I had problems when I tried to change (it was too long). Now my it has changed back to my old one in some places on the forums but it is still ShebaDove {wolf} elsewhere! I will pm a mod about it.

Nothing, but sometimes when we put to much religion on a movie it may get boring. Believe me, I don't have anything against religion, but sometimes I think that movies that contain it were made just to make everybody believe in it.
