In the scene that Star sneezes because of Balto's tail, who is it that says "Gazundheit!"? It doesn't sound like any of the sled dogs!

Also, right after Steele fights Balto, the dogs get the musher in the sled. Balto pushes his arm up, and you hear a voice say "Good boy!" Did the musher say that? Isn't he supposed to be unconscious?

You would think he's unconscious, but apparently he wakes up to compliment Balto.

A transcript I found online reads the following:
Quote:
(Musher groaning) Oh, good boy.

Here's the entire transcript of the movie.

As for gesundheit, the script doesn't specify anyone saying it. The word sort of says itself.

The gazundheit definitely isn't Kaltag in the English translation. The dog that says it has a lisp on the z and a pretty low voice.

Re-thinking this, it would have to be the musher. It doesn't sound like something one of the dogs would say.

Well that is new. I didn´t know "gesundheit" is a german word and serves much the same purpose as "bless you" in English. maybe there was a dog from German in the background.

TBH saying Gazundheit is as common as any english word, we seemed to have adopted it :P So it doesnt nessecerily mean the dog was German, I've said Gazundheit in the past but Im not german :)

I believe the technical meaning of "Gezuntheit" is, "To your health." But let's not get technical.
