Well, it's time we got some creativity here. Everyone seems to be making wolves, wolfdogs, huskies, malamutes, German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, dalmatians, border collies... we need more of the different! So, as a... incentive... I've posted some breeds you can use.

Remember, crossbreeds are vital. One wouldn't think of a Saluki Eskimo Dog everyday, hm?
I have a large list of breeds but I won't post them due to the large space they'd take up.

There are hundreds of uncommon and rare breeds--I know because I bought every book of them I could get my hands on when I was young. There are far too many for me to list; I wish I knew of a good site...but all I can really think of is to link to Wikipedia's "List of Dog Breeds." When in doubt, look up the "list of" somethings on there. xD; I'm sure this doesn't have all the breeds there are, but it might be close, and I did see plenty of highly unusual ones. Maybe someone can browse and find interesting canines to draw or mix with others.

I wish I could post my "Mini-Atlas of Dog Breeds" online, that book has 400+ profiles, probably the most of any I own.

I've been meaning to make a domestic dog character, of a Borzoi for a while. Love these dogs. I'd love to have on later when I get the chance =3

Eeeee, Borzoi are my second-favorite breed (after Salukis)! I looove them...and I want one later on too. At least one, hehe.
