They might not be the best band ever, but I don't think I've ever seen a modern band put more passion into their music, and even if you disagree with it or don't understand it, it's still in your face alt-metal that gets you pumped.

NIGHTWISH!! They've been my favourite band since I was 11-12 years old, and I'n 17 now Seriously, ever since I heard their music for the first time, I was shocked. I wanted to hear more, so I bought their 'OceanBorn'-album. The moment I started to listen to it, I realized that this band would change my life for good. And so it did. The music of Tuomas Holopainen means more to me than you guys can imagine. To me Nightwish is not just a band, it's a way of life. I've only seen them live once, 3 years ago when Tarja Turunen was still in the band, and it was quite a shock when she left the band. But I've got over it pretty well, and next week I'm going to see them live, with my best friend, who I've also teached to love Nightwish. WildChild91 has spoken.
