I was just thinking. This is on another website, as well (Sheezy Art).

When a moderator PMs someone, they can have a choice on whether or not to display their pseudo (sp?) or not, and whether or not the user can reply to the PM or not (by checking a box or something).

I figured this, because when I PM someone about not following fan arts/images rules, some have that tendancy to PM me back and be a grouch. It's really annoying, and I figured it could save some problems, as well.

I'm not sure, I'm partial to the idea myself, but it could help a lot.

I know people will suspect a certain moderator (exspecially if they think only one mod is online) which could then cause a little bit of trouble. Which is why I, myself, am parital to the idea. It has its pros-and-cons. But, overall, I think it would help the lot.

I may not be a mod but, I fully support that suggestion. From what I've heard mods have received threats or some other type of idiotic flames..I agree 100%. This should be given as an option to all mods.

I'm not a mod either but I like this idea. I've also heard what type of things members send to Mods on here O_o It'd be useful but they might go to the C-box and freak out because they don't know who it is so every mod would be a suspect to them. :O

Usually, when someone can't tell which moderator sent them PM, wouldn't they hold their grudge against ALL of them? Not only will it create confusion for them, but for us too.

I'd support it if it were an OPTION. I suppose it can also depend on what kind of mod you are... Yes, I believe all fanart mods should have this option, most defintely. But for others, such as.....oh, say.....a shout box mod, members NEED to see our names, especially when given warnings, so they'll know who they're replying to, and will be able to answer truthfully when asked who....erm....shanked them with the magic banning stick. O_o

I must admit,that this sounds like a good idea to me also.

I am talking about it being an OPTION, like a box they can check to avoid flames (I have been flammed twice for telling two users about the new Profile Image rule) and such. But if the mod would WANT to show their name, they can.

I want this only to be applied to the Private Messages, not the chat boxes.

I'd be for it, but like Suka said, having it as an option would be best.

I fully support this idea. I'm sure the mods are sick and tired of bieng flamed for doing their job. This could solve that problem.
