polling-if you edit your poll it is reset

this really annoys me-sometimes you have another idea later for a poll question or something-or someone makes a suggestion-or you spot a mistake.
So you ether dont edit it or do edit and loose all poll answers

I dont know if it can be changed, but it would be great if it could

Well, what's wrong with just asking people to vote again? I mean, it only takes, like...three seconds. XD And it really isn't that big of a deal... lest, not to me, anyways. If you're really irked about it, why don't you remember the numbers before editing a poll, then just adding them on to get a good guess? ...That probably won't work if people vote twice, but eh... ^^
