I dunno but.. seems like everyone posts that warning message like "I AM FREE TO RANT BLAHBLAH"... and didn`t you notice cause it`s useless XD? You will still get butt-kicked for it.
However let`s speak about your rant.
I can say it`s a pretty good one, myself despises these "mate crap" talks and stuff. I realized since.. a couple of weeks this has been going all around. And why? Dunno maybe they want attention or.. they do it for the fun "to piss off people" (It`s not hard to guess, duh!). You can`t stop em from comming, all you have to do is to notify a mod about it.. like we can`t sit 24/7 to seek the boxes if they are clear or not, we have a life behind the computer, don`t we all?
I dunno how could you say that.. "mods sit and watch till it`s over".. cause I`ve seen not one mod not two, I`ve seen MORE trying to stop those talks.(even myself.. I try to help whenever I can and how I can)... There`s an e`mail button... a report to mod and then we`ll see.
So don`t say that.. cause it`s not always true.
And about mate stuff.. I heard you say mate to wolves.. animals XD If they consider themselves an animal.. fine

With this mate issue all we can do is try and catch it and prevent it as SOON as we see it. I've recently seen a 'rise' in the mate talk. So you know we are just going to have to double time and work harder to keep it ata contained level and hopefully completely rid of it someday. But you know how any rule works, someone always has a way around the system. I try my best to moderate around this site. But I do have a life and obviously a Balto site comes far in second from reality. People need to realize your 'mates' are not real, and it is not acceptable behavior on this site. \

Moderators should not be sitting and watching, not every moderator can be on at one time, hence why we usually have at least one mod working and you should be able to trust that person and know they are working to stop any issues that may occur. Its not comforting to hear that some moderators would rather sit back and let others do their job. I must ask why are they a mod then?

My solution is IGNORE it....Im sure theres something else you could do on this site or another.....I honestly don't think mate talk is ever gonna stop..... so ya....sorry it bugs you....but its not like this rant is gonna change it either.

I agree with some of your rant Yupik. Especially fighting over pointless things - like the names of the puppies in WQ (even though Cat has already posted the thruth), Steele's breed, Balto's father etc. They don't seem to understand that there are some questions in life that will never have an answer, yet they still go on about it.

This is ironic... we're whining and arguing over things like mates and art. Yet in a religious thread (Creationism or evolution?) there is absolutely no flaming and arguing. I never thought I'd see that on an internet forum.

I agree in someways... the shout box is ALWAYS packed with a mod or two, so their is someone always watching over the SB... but however, their neglectant to the Rp box unless someone calls them in there... Shoutbox mods are fine, Atleast the ones I seen did their job correctly... in the sb box.



This I agree with more then anything. Steet doesnt need better SB mods, those are fine. I seen them do their job as their supposed to... just not in the RP box.... I think he needs better Rp mods... because this is where all that mate stuff is taking place. :/ in the RP box, because its not moderated like its supposed to.
and yeah yeah. "we have lives beyond the computer" but when the Rp mods are on, their in the SB box.
The Sb mods are fine.
The Rp mods are not.

I agree with the mate stuff.
But if you have'nt noticed its all taking place in the Rp box.. the Sb mods are fine, and I have'nt seen them not do their job correctly. Its the Rp mods... in the Rp box.

as for people posting their problems on Bs... I dont really think it should be alloud. I mean yeah, we can sympathize the person, but when no attention is given you get a response like so :

"Why are you ignoring me? *cry cry* You know what?? I'm leaving. Im being ignored" Blahdy blah blah. and then when someone comments, they want to get all huffy and snotty. Personal Problems should STAY PERSONAL and not be spread all over the online community. its just rediculous. PMing it to your CLOSE FRIENDS. is fine... but I think spreading it on the SB and RB box should be something not tolerated.

Why does nearly everyone blame ALL the mods? We certainly do NOT run away from fights, or else, like what Drew said, why would be even BE mods? We were assigned for a reason, and I wish we weren't so ridiculed.

As to the banning thing, we can all ban because the SB mods aren't always on all the time. That and we need to be able to ban theives, and rule breakers that are separate from the SB entirely.

Well you certainly don't specify. Even so, we do our job to the best of our abilites. Being a mod is no piece of cake mind you.

No offense, really, but we have lives beyond this site. We can't be on ALL the time.
