Have a pack/in a pack on Balto Source? Look here!

I assume that since you clicked on this topic, you are probably in a so called "pack" here on Balto Source, run one, or are interested in joining one. At any rate, I'd like to bring up a sort of challenge. But before I do, some of you may not know the history of packs here on BS. And because of that, I'll sum it up:

Packs here on Balto Source have never really been serious things (as far as I have ever been aware of in my 2 years here.) Someone would say that they were making up a pack, then other members would say they were joining, be given some generic rank, and that would, for the most part, be the end of it. Unless the members went to other "Alpha's" and asked to join there. That, would of course, start a flame war between the two so called Alphas, and hatred would ensue.

And so, things pack-wise here have never been what I would call truly successful. Having been on several msn groups dedicated to pack-oriented wolf roleplay, I can say that the packs here haven't functioned as well as they truly could.

But what if we could improve the pack interaction and roleplay here on Balto Source? What if we could make it to where these "packs" interact with their members and the other packs in a way similar to real wolf packs to a degree? What if we could make them truly successful packs?

So, here is my proposal: let's work together to make the packs on BS better, all the way around. Let's make them fully functional! But in order to do that, I'll need some help. Any Alpha of a pack who is interested in this, please pm me with the name of your pack, a list of members (their character names and their usernames here), and your character's name (the one that runs the pack, if you use characters to rp in the pack instead of just yourself.) With help, we can give the packs of Balto Source an upgrade like you wouldn't believe!

We'll need to find somewhere else to have the packs interact (the rp shoutbox is just too small to manage this!) so I'm working on the idea of creating a proboards account. All of the Alphas will be made moderators of their specific pack pages so that they can run their packs the way they want. I'll keep up with everything else the proboards site will need.

So if this sounds like a good idea to you, pm me! If you are interested in learning more about my pack (since I haven't mentioned it much) and my character click here! If you are interested in joining my pack, then you may pm me, but be forewarned that I am only accepting serious roleplayers who will be willing to para most, if not all the time. Other than that, give me some feedback ^.^

Well, I'm in the Blood Stone Pack, I'm not the alpha, but I'm in it. I don't really have much to say. But this sure isn't a common pack, at least I don't think so. This Blood Paws Pack seems to be the most common.

I have an EXTREMLY large pack, the warriorcat pack, of about 21 members. but we are cats, not wolves. i already made a site for mine so thanks for the invite, cool topic though anyways.

Cool ^.^ Thanks for the opinions, guys. Since Balto Source is also affiliated with the Lion King Source, I might expand the forum I'm working on to include a pride roleplay as well. Once again, all who are interested in brining their packs/prides there, just pm me.

I created the pack But I'm not the Alpha, and the pack doesn't have a official name yet. And it's sorta a clan =O

I've been working on the site a lot, so it's ready for business. If you know who the alpha of any pack is, tell them to come and read over this and then look over the site. It can't hurt just to take a look ^.^
