This would be my idea(s). I'm just brainstorming here, I'll decide later if I get her. ;D

-No matter what, she would become Lestat's mate (they knew each other since they were pups).

-She was sold to a man who tried to use her for dog-fighting, the Pit Bulls' practice-dog (so stereotypical XD). She then, was discovered by a teenage boy and his five-year old sister who was aiming for a kitten at the pet store. Instead, she gets this puppy and the family heals her. But, the father doesn't like dogs and is trying his hardest to rid of her, by dumping her and trying to sell her. But, each time, the dog comes back! The mother then becomes worried when the daughter has Bone Marrow Deficiancy, and with the dog's hyperness and activity she's worried about injury or death brought on by the animal unintentionally.

Unfortuneately, the little girl dies in a car accident with her father (he was drunk), and the brother then took Daiquiri along with him to his new home, in which he moved to go to college. Separated from her mate, Daiquiri goes through a severe depression and quits eating. But, Lestat soon finds her. He was abandoned and traveled as a stray, and happened across her when she was in the master's yard. The owner (unnnamed) finds Lestat, as well, and decides to adopt the skinny, neglected mutt. The two, after a couple of years, have two puppies that are later sold.

Then, the owner has to rid the animals to move into the dormatory of the college. He sells them both to his friend in the country who lives on a farm, where there is a conflict of interest with Lestat and a coyote. But, he loves Daiquiri too much to leave her, but the coyote still causes conflicts between the two in hopes to gain Lestat (much like Achak and Kiona). She then, takes it to an extreme and attempts to murder Daiquiri and the puppies.

Aw, she has a pretty name and design :'). I'm just brainstorming as a type at the moment so bear with me.
Daiquiri would be Striker's mate (Striker is Bullet and Cobalt's son). Striker would be in a sled team for sprint dashes and Daiquiri a show dog for a short amount of time. Daiquiri wouldn't always win the contests but she would usually place, and after a while is sold to a breeder looking for a mate for his womanizer brown/white ex-sleddog Canadian Eskimo Dog, Rogue, in the hopes they would produce some finer pups for sledding and show than Rogue was. Daiquiri tries to dispel Rogue's advances, and suceeds. Striker and Daiquiri are obviously now in love and soon enough Daiquiri is found to be pregnant. She is nearly killed by abuse from her breeder but then instead is abandoned on the street, left to die. Striker's family takes her in and Striker withdraws from sledding, despite a bumper-win season, to spend more time with her and the unborn pups. Daiquiri gives birth to six pups, two however are stillborn from the abuse of her breeder. Daiquiri is still shocked from the stillborn pups and the torment of her breeder but eventually learns to accept it, as not all humans are friendly.

...dang, that's a dark story o.O. Pretty sad, too, but not everyone gets a happy... something or other, she turns out happy in the end with Striker and her four pups.

Well I don't feel like keeping this up for long since it's just a quick adoption. So thanks for you guys' entries, they were all good!

Kirada I really liked your original idea. So you may have Daiquiri =D If you make a fanfic on your idea I can't wait to read it ;D
