I can native script well in 14 different computer languages, but I am sorry to say that I'm buried in work scripting (ugh... my supervisor ordered 28 new servers and I need to ad hoc one to another to the new HUB unit- and it's a veeeery long process).
My recommendation is if you want someone to script your page for you, it makes it much easier for a programmer to have each item/image on a web page to be in either a JPEG or GIF format (like the site logo, buttons {because not everyone will have your fonts you used for your navigation bar/header}) so that they can add bit by bit to the page as they script along. It is also needed to know if you wanted frames, tables, et cetera.
Also, take a look around
W3School to learn a little about HTML/XHTML programming. It is actually quite fun when you do it yourself.
