Is Kopa really Kovu

I was doing some investigating when I saw some pictures of Kovu and Kopa and they look alike so I think that Zira didn't kill him just raised him as her cos she may not of been evil all her life so the creaters may hve drawn Kopa then had second thoughts about it then made him brown with black hair what do u think?

I don't think they're the same. Kopa is a lighter colour than Kovu, and when Kovu first encounters Simba, don't you think he might've said "Hi Dad, it's me Kopa! Remember me?"

Not only that, but Kovu paired up with Kiara, who was Kopa's sister. If Kovu and Kopa were the same guy... EL YUCCKO!

Kopa is the lion cub at the end of TLK 1,and Kiara and Kovu are the Pridelander/Outlander cubs.

True, their manes look a little alike, but Kovu's definitely a different lion than Kopa.
