The test issue can be found here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=H70SCXYZPrevious issues (1-5): http://www.sendspace.com/file/c2nyy7 (.zip | If Sendspace does not work, I will upload a backup) Issue 5 *NEW*: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UANRHYRW , http://www.sendspace.com/file/v4zwdy_____________________________________________________________________ Trying to get it running again...Trying to get TWB running properly again, so sorry about not updating. This will be my last attempt at getting it running. All spots are open again (and people who worked with me previously are already in the staff if they wish to rejoin). If this last attempt fails, then I'm pretty sure the project is going to be laid on ice. _____________________________________________________________________ Jobs availible:Writers: 4 Editors: 1 Artists: 2 Requirements; Good grammar and spelling. MSN. If artist; decent artwork. Editor requirements: OpenOffice.org Writer (freeware, is a good writing program. Download: http://www.openoffice.org ) and/or Microsoft Office 2007. MSN (THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT, YOU WILL BE REJECTED WITHOUT MSN) Excellent grammar and spelling Decent knowledge about BaltoSource Good judgement Some spare time Can handle images in a document Can save the issue as .pdf Application Form: Job: Why? Example: If your request is to be an editor, then this is the form you'll use: Job: Why?: Example issue: Further information(?): If you apply for the web manager's spot, you'll need to use the standard application form, but in "Example" you'll need to show your coding abilities. I.e a website (can be any kind of free host, the code must be yours. Can also be uploaded as a .zip file.), or something similar. PM yupik for this spot. The rest must be sent to me through PM. _________________________________________________________________________________ - Mastermind

Not too bad. A little messy, like you said, but that can be fixed easily enough, especially when we shrink some text and put it in columns and check all the spelling/grammar. But overall, pretty good idea. The page names and such might need to change, depending on what you want some of us to write about, but we'll work all that out. Do you have an editor in mind yet?

I could read it over and over again without getting bored at all. Next time, I hope contents page to be well, less column-remote (No.1 has some words but No.2 and 3 are totally blank) and a good writer and some more pics which will make the newsletter even more interesting to read, not all blab blab blab..., you know what I mean, this is very good for a first time, but still needs to improve more, I'm keeping this in my com to compare with the other issues you're gonna write next to see if you've improve. BTW, I like the cat

And, by the way, I think you need to download MSN, as I don't think your IM is compatible O.o Dragon Rider wrote: I'm interested in this. May I be a writer? Sure. Find something from Baltosource to write about, and PM me with an application containing the text ^^ Then you'll recieve the answer pretty soon. And at Whitewolf(uk) (man, I hate that I'm limited to only three quotes): Awesome, and the more the merrier (have to set a limit if it becomes too many, though). If you'd like to help, just make an application for the availible spots And to all; thanks for the feedback. It will be used to improve The Weekly Balto Promise.

Togo wrote: I liked this test issue, compliments Wolflux. I've got an idea: it might be a good idea to let everyone posts their articles in this topic, and then group the best ones and make the .pdf document with them. What do you think? That's a very good idea, actually. Thanks, Togo.
