Think about third party characters

Well, I've never thought about third party characters much, but here's everyone I'd like to see in that has not already been confirmed:

Sonic: Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, and Blaze

Starfox: Krystal, Falco, and Wolf

Metroid: Ridley (or Meta-Ridley) and Dark Samus

Mario: Fawful, Cackletta, and Bowser Jr.

I'd also like to see voiceovers for certain characters in some of the story mode's cutscenes, because so far, none of the cutscenes have shown anyone speaking.

How about that Esurance chick?

No, seriously, one could only dream the Road Rovers would appear in SSBB.

Here's what I'm thinking:

-Falco makes a return with a unique set of moves and Krystal and Wolf come as newcomers for the Star Fox series.

-The Metroid series has Samus, but I think there's room to add one or two other hunters from Metroid Prime Hunters or Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I've got a feeling Ridley is in but as a boss character.

-The developers have designed a new Sheik character just for Brawl and he'll return as Zelda's down-B transformation.

-Ganondorf returns with his Twilight Princess look, his sword, and a new move set.

-Midna from Zelda Twilight Princess as a newcomer. With or without Wolf Link, it doesn't matter... but being that her appearances were more often with him than without him, I'm saying Wolf Link is in too (as partners).

-Third parties get one character per company. Sonic = SEGA, Snake = Konami. Two other possible companies are Square Enix (Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts) and Capcom (Devil Mar Cry, Mega Man, Okami).
Being that people who specifically worked on Kingdom Hearts are working on Brawl, it won't be a surprise to me if Sora makes it in. Of course, Kingdom Hearts is part Disney so that might prevent him from being in Brawl... but that means there'll still be an open slot for Square... a Final Fantasy character perhaps?
As for Capcom: I don't see Dante beating Mega Man for a slot to represent Capcom. Amaterasu's chances have increased ever since Okami has been officially announced for Nintendo's Wii. Despite the fact that Okami is scheduled for release after Brawl, Capcom might want to use its space by putting Amaterasu in Brawl as a way to advertise the Okami game (remember: Okami's sales on the PS2 weren't all that great.)

-Personally, Tom Nook is in from the Animal Crossing series. It doesn't make sense, I know, but the Animal Crossing series already has an emblem for Brawl. As far as I know, series with emblems in a Super Smash Bros game have playable characters, and Tom Nook seems to be the only one who can have a fighting move set and is very well known.


I don't know why, but I have this gut feeling that something big for the Star Fox series will happen this week on the Dojo. A rumor lead I've come across states it's a character (whether it's an Assist Trophy or a playable character is not known). The rumor also claims that it's a female character. Possible characters are Amanda and Lucy Hare but the bigger ones are Katt Monroe and Krystal.
It's only a feeling so we'll see...

Well, they did have the video introducing Fox into the storyline, but I think that it may be a hint for something to come for the Starfox series. Personally, I'd say Krystal probably has the best chance to make it into Brawl. Even though I don't have a link to it, I remember a report from someone who was working on Brawl in Japanese, and near the end of the report, it said "Krystal" in katakana. It may not be confirmation of her in the game, but since I can't read kanji, I just assumed that it may have been a hint at her confirmation.

Now, I don't know... at least for this week. Todays update was Grey Fox, a ninja character from the Metal Gear series. With all my excitement and knowledge of the Star Fox series, I over looked the possibilities of this character being in Brawl.
However, there's two more updates left in the week, there's still a chance for a Star Fox character to appear this week.

I wish my Japanese class was far enough to read katakana (we're still reading phrases in romanji); that would help a lot with things like this...
Anyways, there not doubt in my mind that Krystal is in to represent Star Fox alongside Fox. Despite the serie's tainted story, she still plays a major role in the series. That's not to mention her fanbase too.
