This random pic came up on the site the other day-look at Rosie's face, she looks scared. And she's looking at Steele-who in that pic anyway looks like he's growling at Rosie.

I think she was the only human who saw Steele for who he really was-just like she saw Balto.
What do you think?

yeah I know but for some reason Image Shack wouldnt upload it properly-the progres bar just went on and on(for maybe 15 mins). I tried exiting Image Shack and trying again and different url's but none would work, so I upload it directly, sorry about the size.
i just cant understand why it wont come up?

Good pic! Yes, I totally agree; I think children are almsot always portrayed as being able to see things that should be obvious to adults. She definitely knows Balto is trustworthy and Steele isn't. I never quite picked up on her expression in that scene, I was always focusing on Sylvie and Dixie rushing up behind them to flirt. XDD

Anyway, I know this is a very midaction shot and so it's probably not exactly what it looks like in this one frame, but...even though Rosie was cheering him on, so was pretty much everyone else. Kids'll do that kinda thing--root for the same one their parents are, for instance. And at that point almost everybody else was part of Steele's fan club. But I wouldn't be surprised if there was something she was then able to sense about Steele that she didn't trust...

no,i think that his face is because in that scene she wants to play with balto but his father said balto is dangerous so she complain...

That's the major part of it, she is upset about not being able to play with Balto and thinks his feelings have been hurt. But I wouldn't be surprised if simultaneously her (negative) feelings toward Steele were revealed. I think it goes by so fast it's hard to tell...maybe it's not really fear 'cause she's just turning around and not looking at Steele long enough to notice his sneer...but I'd say it's possible.

no, rosie just got startled cuase her dad grabbed her suddenly, steeles doing that cuase he knows jennas been talking with balto, but doesnt like steele.

I don't think shes scared of Steel. She was rooting for Steel when he was racing.

Yeah, that's true. Hehh. I dunno. I could see her being afraid of him or realizing what he's really like before others do, but..mebbe not.

well since she was rooting for him but of her face in that pic, i cant decide.

She's upset because her dad kicked snow at Balto. The eye contact is coincidence. That's what I think.

well steele is CREEPY!!! i would be afraid of him too.

I wouldn't be afraid of him. I don't think hes creepy. I think hes cute..
