That's awesome. I wish I had those kinds of guts. Showing a kid's movie in a college class... I bet over half of the other kids are going to show clips from 300.

You would be surprised on how many college kids enjoy family movies. Don't forget that all the people in college grew up on Disney animated movies and quality Saturday morning cartoons (like GI Joe, My Little Pony, Transformers, etc.).

When you're staying up till 3 in the morning studying for exams and rushing from class to class, it's sometimes nice to watch a family movie and pretend you're a kid again. Granted, they wouldn't watch anything really sappy, but films like Balto would certainly pass.

Balto is pretty sappy... at least in my opinion.

haha! Knew they would like it! It just shows how college students don't need heavy content (violence, sex, etc) to be entertained.

Sounds like it went well. What college do you go to by chance?

LOL I liked your expression at the end of the video.
"Thanks for watching, hope you liked it." (In head) "That was corny..."

Nice video though. I'd never have the guts to do that!

Out of curiousity, why did you show Balto over your other favorites?

Your Youtube profile says you like Secret of Nimh, Hayao Miyazaki movies, and Fox and the Hound better than Balto. Why'd you choose Balto over those movies?

Compliments from me ;)

I think I'm going to try the same thing at my school some day. (once I get the chance, and get the hold on the three movies in DVD format).

You've got guts, pal. Rock on!
