Kitten Drowned For Movie

A friend had shown me a link to a film where a kitten was filmed being drowned that we are against since she's a cat lover. The judges thought it was all spiecial effects and by the time they figured out it was real the person had already won a reward for the film.

Yeah, I've seen that and it makes me sick. Awards? Whoever that monster is he should be locked up. No, better yet, drowned himself. See if he thinks that's "art."

So you guys are all going to kill a human over a kitten's death??? Wow, I think I just figured out why Dr. Phil even exists... Anyway, I once killed a kitten when I was only 5 years old, albeit accidentally (I tripped, the kitten fell, you can probably guess the rest); are you going to kill me for it out of sheer vengeance and hatred, even though it was still just an accident, and also though I was only 5 years old at the time anyways (nearly 11 years ago for me)?!?!?!

No! But that's the point; if this guy can drown a kitten in cold blood as an adult for the purpose of making a movie....I can see absolutely no reason he does not deserve to meet the same fate.

BTW, I for one personally believe that this particular section of the forums is the primary basis of WAAAAY too much controversy and/or flaming, and should be toned-down quite a notch and, most importantly, should STOP BEING LIKE EVERY OTHER IMMATURE WEBSITE OUT THERE THAT ACTS THIS WAY AND STOP BEING SO DARN BIASED!!!!!

Yeah yeah, I don't care about the virtual ant. A kitten's another matter anyway. Sometimes you just can't help stepping on bugs. =p

My being a girl has no bearing on it; I'm an animal lover but I'm not particularly easily offended. I would say this guy's barbaric act should offend any halfway decent person. Overreacting? I think not. It's completely indefensible. You don't need to equate an animal life with a human one to see that. (I never saw what the huuuge difference was anyway.) I still say that if someone drowned him for what he did, justice would be served.

But honestly, you're right; why did it turn into a debate? Let's chill...there shouldn't be arguing/flaming/controversy (why'd you start saying immature things, anyhow? :wink:

Hey, I agree with you two on that drowning animals is a definite and immoral no-no

; the only thing that I can't say the same for is on the issue of animals equaling humans exactly and perfectly, mainly because it isn't a very godly concept, that's all. But that definitely DOESN'T mean that you can't love animals with all of your heart's love that you can offer!!!!!!!
