Well, that's not really a rant (there have already been rants about the visitors writing bad language...) but I have found something that should get the site much better, and get the VISITORS better too!
I have found...a SMS language detector! Not kidding, I've tried this script and it works pretty fine. Well for now, it's only for french, but I'll probably be able to adapt it into english as well.
According to the text input, it gives points : the more points, the more it's close to a bad language.
And it even gives what's wrong.

So I would be able, for example, to force everyone on the site to write a GOOD language : if I detect that someone uses SMS language very often, I will prevent that person to post until she writes in a better way.
Even more than that, there's an "automatic translator"! (bad to good language...) I haven't tried it yet, but it's simple and it should work...

Give me some time, and I'll probably be able to do something I've never seen on any site...

I really like this idea and cause, I think SMS is annoying to read. Hope you can get it working for the English side.

And this will also mean no more rants here about 'why we should be allowed SMS.' The offenders will not be able to post them!
