After reading Universal's response to the last petition, I think that we should make it incredibly clear to Universal that we are NOT asking for a new Balto sequel.
I feel that the way to do this is to make an un-official webpage (or site!) for the Special Edition DVD. I'm not saying it has be something big like Balto Source. Just something simple on FreeWebs perhaps, or even just another page on this site. Just so long as it contains information on:

What we, as Balto fans, would like to see on the DVD

How terrible the current DVD version is

Why we think a Special Edition would improve sales

Now hang on a minute? Isn't that on the petition already? Yes it is, but still, repetition can help. I feel we could go into more detail about it, perhaps? Also, there could be:

Fan cover art for the Special Edition box (lots of it!)

Different fans' opinions on the films

Fans' opinions on a Special Edition

More fan art

Perhaps a video about the Special Edition?

More suggestions on what can be done for Balto (e.g. releasing a pack)

Now, this is only a mere suggestion and I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. But I think that sending a link to the page/site alongside the petition would really help reinforce the point of the petition and how dedicated (and numerous) us fans really are.
If anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to post.

I don´t know if this is going to work but it is worth to try . if someone´s willing to do this. at least it would improve the petitions current state, maybe.

Mmm...Honestly, I don't think it would change anything. Maybe some more people would sign, but that's all. Universal won't hear about the petition until we decide to send it to them, I don't think they'll take the time to check a site like this. But well, if you want to do it, I'm not preventing you.

I'm going to. Even if it just means a few more signatures, less is more, as they say. I'll post a link to it in Fan Links when I'm done.
