Well I want to start drawing pics of wolves and dogs, problem is I have no artistic talent what so ever. Does any-one know of a book or somthing that shows you how to start drawing dogs and wolves step by step? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks :D

Well practice is all good and well but sometimes a bit of help is needed, I did with horses, XD.

I would suggest looking on eBay or other online shops for a book called "Animal anatomy for artists", it's black with a horse skeleton on the cover with red writing, I have it and it's really good, it has dogs, horses, cows and other animals. There's a nice big section in it on dogs, very informative and an all round good reference book.

Alternatively there's DeviantArt, here are some good tutorials on there...

This one has a dog section: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/163 ... _scale%3A5

This is another one: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/371 ... e%3A5&qo=3

This is another pretty good one: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/325 ... e%3A5&qo=6

And there's Drew's topic on here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=11729

Hope this stuff helps ya.

I've had some sucess as an artist, although I specialize in dragons (big surprise) not wolves. But whatever you're drawing, by all means read how-to-draw books. And not just how-to-draw books, but any book that has good pictures in it to work from. Once you learn a few tricks, you'll be able to branch out. But always, always start with the basics. I wouldn't be able to recommend anything specific, except to visit your local library.
