The other day, someone posted a topic asking what's the saddest part of WQ. Well, some people answered sensibly. Others (I'm not going to point fingers) just put 'I think the saddest part of the film is that they made it' and stuff like that.
I understand that many people here hate Wolf Quest, and I'm going to make it clear that everyone has a right to their own opinions and I respect that. There's nothing wrong with hating WQ. But if you want to post something like that, please post it in a topic that's more appropriate, like a topic that discusses what your opinion on the film is.
Because there are some people here who DO like WQ and want to talk about it sensibly - and posting things like 'The saddest part of the movie is all of it' just ruins it for everyone else.

I'm not just talking about WQ here. I think this should apply to all categories. So let's say, in the music section:

Random person 1: What's the most beautiful part of *place random song name here*?
Random person 2: I think the most beautiful part of the song was when it finished so I could unplug my ears.

If you don't like it, then please post somewhere else - in a more appropriate topic. Because it ruins the fun for people who do like it, and they might be put off altogether.

Everyone has a right to their own opinions, and to expressing them - but sometimes they need to expressed in a more appropriate place.

If there was another place in which to post it, then yes they should. However, if they simply must say something such "I hate Wolf Quest" then they should at least give a reason for their dislike towards the movie. I'll give an example.

Not acceptable: "I hate Wolf Quest! It is the worst movie in the world! No, the universe!"
Acceptable: "I dislike Wolf Quest. The reason being is that it strays too far from the formula of the original."

The "acceptable" comment opens up discussion about their opinion, such as "Why and how does it stray from the forumla?" Or rather, "Is it necessarily a bad thing that it strays from the formula."

So, the "acceptable" answer provides an opportunity for discussion on that person's opinion, whereas saying "I hate Wolf Quest!!" simply angers others. But by all means, if there is a better place for a comment, then it should go there.

Additionally, more people need to be responding to this topic. It reveals a very important point.

thats a 'smart' comment. they were being smart, like saying the movie was pitiful, it might have been bloopercity but it wasnt Terriable.

They can say things like that if they give a reasonable reason. My two cents.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You can't take that away from them. It's like saying that they are wrong. And they aren't. With things concerning the movie (as far as who people like it and stuff), you can't have a correct opinion and a false one because they aren't proven facts. BUT if people are going to say that, they should add a bit more to their reply.

I'm not saying that there is a 'correct' opinion and a 'false' one. And I'm not ranting about people who don't like WQ - it's fine to hate it. I'm just saying that sometimes there are better places to post your opinions.

I agree. Opinions shouldn't be forced out of someone's mind.

I don't care if they say hate WQ and people shouldn't get so worked up about it for two reasons :

-It's just a movie, nothing serious.

-It's an opinion and opinions should be respected by others.

I think people need to learn how to express their opinions in a more polite way. Maybe broadening their vocabulary would help as well. Politeness and respect is what needs to be practiced with the members who do this...

I agree-these are really opinions in the wrong place. personally i love WQ and Aleu.

People really dont want to hear about Hating the movie...
they want to hear from the people that actually like it, and have a favorite part...
Im not saying that they should'nt state their opinion...
what I am saying is that people should keep their comments to themselves, and not post it or state it nicer.

Part of the reason some don't like it is because the 'popular' guys and Girls of Balto source don't, and everyone else is following because they dont want to feel left out.

Thats why people should post mostly positive things on a positive fourm.

and negative, on a negative fourm topic.
