Sorry to hear that Dob.. I know how much it hurts to have health problems.. and havin like most part of the family with a health damage... But you must try and keep yourself strong. Even tho it's hard, but you must.
I can't give any good advices.. just try to keep yourself strong.. No matter what.

I'm not agony aunt, so all I can say is that things may seem bad now, but don't worry, life will always improve. It might not feel like it now, but it does. I promise it. Don't commit suicide - that will just make things even worse for your family. Maybe you could go off and stay with a friend or a relative perhaps?

I'm not gonna try to pretend to know how you feel, because the odds are I don't. But Iwill say this: you've got guts. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. If you need to talk, I'm open. Courage and Godspeed.

Best of my sympathies go out to you, Doby. I know you've been having it rather tough lately, and it's really strong and brave of you to have kept yourself together despite all that's going on. Really and truly, I wish there was something more I could do than just offer these somewhat useless words of remorse. Please, try to dwell more on what you got, and not so much on what you're losing. You can battle the negatives, you can fight back the thoughts, and I'm more than positive that you can win. Just keep holding on. I believe you have more going for you than you realize.

I shan't bore you with the hardships of my own life, since it's nothing compared to what you're currently going through. But believe it or not, life was NEVER meant to be lived this shortly. Even if things don't turn out the way you wanted them to, know that there are some things you just can't control. It's hard, yes, but please don't let it get to you. And remember... you'll ALWAYS have friends here, Doby. As you're reading these posts, you must believe that there are some of us who are genuinely worried for you, your family, and honestly hope things will turn out for the better...

I've gone through your feelings and thoughts for seven years before my life became better. My mother never got drunk at all (at least as far as I know) and we never had the same health problems as your family, however I still know exactly how you feel.

But after a while, my life turned out okay. My advise to you, Doby, is the let the events unfold, while you keep yourself alive. It usually turns out well. As for your mom, you should call those protectors of children (dunno what it's name is in english) and speak to them about your situation, and they will try to help fix your life.

That sucks Doby, I really do hope your family gets all sorted out. I'm not really a religous type but I'll pray for ya, dunno how much good it'll do coming from me but you never know right?

I'm not gonna say it'll all be better soon coz it won't, never is, so all I'll say is, I'm here if ya a helping paw.

I kinda know how bad you feel, I don't have such pain in my feet but my mum does drink a lot and she never realises how much it hurts me and my brother, though he doesn't help much.
I don't have the added problem of sick family members either, most of my family is dead now, only my mum, brother and grandma left....oh, and my dad but I'd rather never see him again in my life.

I know how much it sucks to have bad thoughts, I do sometimes, not on a daily basis but when things are going really bad and all I want to do is curl up in a dark hole and forget the world exists. :[

I won't bore you with a long post... partly because I'm never good at saying long things to make someone feel better or something. But my best wishes do go out to you and your family. It's horrible that you are having to go threw all of this. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And though I'm really not religious, I'll pray for you and your family.

I feel so sorry for you, Doby. I've never been through anything like that. Here's some things that might help you: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10: "And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Psalms 34:18: "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart..."

Finally, an excerpt from an old story called "Footprints" (God is speaking to a man): "My precious, precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

God bless you, Doby, and may He carry you through these trials. I'm already praying for you. As for your thoughts of suicide, consider this passage from the Bible: "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'." God has plans for you, if you will trust in Him and let Him guide your life. When you feel down and need strength, pray and He will hear you. Remember, nothing but nothing is too big or too hard for God, and whenever you cry out to Him, He's already there holding your hand.
