RP MODS!

Im not sure everyone would like this idea, but I think that it would be quite useful. RP MODS.

I have been to the roleplay box many times, yet to discover things such as mates talks, and profanity. For example, not giving any names out but once i went they had just talked about something that went a little bit like this:

Person1: Did so-and-so stop being your mate?
Person1: Cuz you arent talking anymore.
Person2: Yeah, they did, we broke up cuz they were hardly online anymore.
Person1: Oh, thats too bad, you guys were a great couple. =(

I also have seen this about three times, but not from the same person. They used d***it either in their RP or when they made a spelling mistake in their rp.
Other things that may not quite be such a big issue, but still is the rules, SMS.

I think it might be an excellent thing to add to the sites 'mod collection'. I really do think it might make people feel a little bit of less of a need to go there and talk about these things, knowing that the Shoutbox is heavily modded. I have seen some people not even rp, just talk to their friends like its another sb.
Another idea might be for the sb mods maybe to patrol the rp box once in a while to make sure everyone is following the rules. I do know its not my place to make all these adjustments, which is why I have made this suggestion for some of you to look at. I hope this will help the sites little rp problem.

I wondered if there were RP mods, I guess not. It quite a good idea. The shout box mod will see to the rp box, put I've seen alot of people SMSing and Doing Mate talk in there. So even if there's no RP mod, just PM a shout box mod

I'm on about 50% with you on this.

There ARE mods for the RPG sections, but seems like they aren't doing their job currently...

I have also seen this problem warriorcat*ndog, Where i join a Roleplay and they just trun into mate talks. This had happened to one of my RP idea and it was taken control of by them talkers which really had annoyed me. A perfectly good RP that could of gone on with everyone enjoying it then it becomes a ruin. I'm not sure about the SMS i haven't seen much of that if any. But i totaly agree with you 100% on the RP boards with RPs that are become out of hand and against the rules.

There are RP mods as steet said and most likelt not doing there job right But i am on everyday and alot of the time of that day and i rarely or have never seen any of the section mods online in the past month or so

Oh, you mean the shout boxes. I was referring to the forums sections.
Well in that case, we can't do much, there can't be a mod there 24/24 7/7.
So the best you can do is to report the problems when there's one, by using the button at the bottom of the shout boxes.

Hey... that really hurts!

But yeah, I agree with Togo. If everyone used the report features, the site would run better, and you wouldn't have to be eyed by two mods wherever you go.

I, am on every day, and I rarely see cases of that on the RPG forums. Not so sure about the RP ShoutBox, though. Never really bothered to be there. I checked in once, and saw the case you were talking about warriorcat*ndog.

Heh, I'd clean it up if I was able to, but alas...

no, its nothing to do with anything on the RPG forums,wolflux, the problem is the RP box.

There were me and two of my buddies, with a perfectly good rp, (An Advanced one) and the rest of the rp box were arguing about..Guess what? Mates and using SMS. So as soon as one of us had posted, our posts landed out of the page because the box was full of other perople arging. It was all, "I thought he liked me, That stupid horrid cheater" "Oh quit it, he's mine" "He was with me first and YOU stole him from me" And all along thoise lines. In the end, I left..... A few words.... I think the first idea of "Mates in rp" was good cuz it makes an intresting rp. But now it all SMS, Talking, Mate talk, Spamming, and arguing in RP. Usally it's 1 part rp, 1 part talk, 2 part arguement :roll:

but its annoying, which is why i made this. mods shoutbox mods arent always online to ban the rule-breaking member as soon as they start their crap. i thought it could be useful to have some rp mods, like a certain member that enjoys rping, to supervise the rps.
