Those are great reasons for loving horses.
My favorite animals basically fall into 2 categories:
1.
Dogs.(Favorite breeds are sighthounds--Salukis, Borzoi, Afghan hounds, Scottish Deerhounds. Also Bedlington terriers. Saluki is #1.
Why? They're everything I would most love in an animal. Beautiful, graceful, dignified, independent, almost human in some ways...but thankfully not. List goes on. They're just perfect to me.)
2.
Aquatic animals.(I adore fish. There are SO many kinds, but to pick favorites, among freshwaters I am extremely fond of 'plecos,' the armor-plated sucker-mouthed family of Loricariid catfish. You know 'em. They suck onto the glass and look comical with their round mouths on the underside. But more than that, I love them...I think they have the look of marvelous prehistoric creatures that move slowly through the water. I like how they rest on the bottom and have cute faces that look at you in a way most fish can't. I could go on about them but they're just awesome. XD Then there's the saltwater side. I'm a big big huge big fan of tropical marines. Anyone who knows me knows you can't pry me away from watching a saltwater aquarium. I just find the fish amazing, I love their shapes and movements and above all their colors. Many are extremely bright and a lot of them have the most beautiful, intricate patterns, it looks as if they were hand-painted. That animals exist with these bright, gorgeous colors I find remarkable and wonderful.
Aside from fish, I like a lot of other sea life, particularly rays of all sorts. I adore the way they ripple and glide through the water. They're my favorite animals to watch at the aquarium [and to pet and feed!] They are just so incredibly cool-looking.)
