So what languages are you able to use now? Do you think that somewhere in the future, you will learn a new language? If so, why?

_ Well, I must know Japanese (Mothertongue) and English (Then what I'm writing in?), and I do also know Vietnamese. Apart from those, nothing else. And maybe when I turn 18, I'll begin to study Chinese, since most people in the world use it, a little bit more or less than English :)

PS: I don't know if there's already a topic like this but since I couldn't find any so I decided to make my own

I speak fluent English and a little bit of French because I studied it for a few years in school. I've also wanted to learn other languages-MANY others-and I've ventured into learning a bit of German, Japanese and Swedish at various times. Unfortunately I haven't had the kind of good, long-term lessons in anything else that I had in French (for the most part), and I really am interested in learning too many others to really have seriously focused on one, so I still know more French than any other language that's foreign to me...

I'm only fluent in English, but I know a bit of Finnish. I'm learning Spanish this year in school and plan to study German in my college days. I'm looking forward to it. I know some Japanese but that's only from watching too much anime... I'm not fluent in it by any means. I would like to learn Italian and Russian...

I can speak English (America), Gibberish, & Piglatin fluently.
I also know English (England), French, German, & Spanish (Mexico), Lakhota - but very little of it.
I plan on learning Engligh (England), French, German, Spanish (Mexico), Spanish (Spain), Latin, Italian, & Lakhota. I believe there could be more I plan on learning, but I cannot think of them at the moment. Why do I want to learn these ? Because I love them, all but Spanish (Mexico). I really don't like Spanish, but I want to learn it, because it would be good for my knowledge. But the rest are all just beautiful, and I love them. ;D

Anyways.

I can speak Romanian (mother language), English (as you can see) and a bit of French (learning at school) but I'm not quite fluent in it. Also I'd like to learn German in the near future.

I speak English (American branch) and understand Spanish.
I've picked some of the UK English vocabulary over time.
I also study Japanese whenever free time comes my ways.

My main language is American English. I refuse to call it "English" because we have diverted from it in so many ways.

I can also speak French and Spanish decently. I know a little bit of Latin, Gaelic, and German. I know a few phrases in Swedish, Finnish, Dutch, Russian, and Japanese.

People who are able to study English first are very lucky. Geez, knowing an international well's really an advantage, both in studying and working... are there any places in the world that doesn't have English?
