If anyone can remember back to 1993, a time before the first Balto came out, you should also remember this other one of Amblimation's masterpieces. Produced by Stephen Spielberg, and based off the 1987 children's book by Hudson Talbott, it's truly a remarkable story.

A vicious Tyrannosaurus Rex (Named Rex. XD How orginal.) is visited by a small alien that feeds him what's called Brain Grain, a food that increases the intelligence of whoever eats it, making him -- along with a bunch of other dinosaurs -- friendly, talking creatures, who are then transported through time to New York. If I reveal anything else, it will ruin the story...

...which will get me REEEEEAL pissed, because I've been wanting to see this movie again, and I've been looking all over my house for EONS, trying to find my copy of this exrtaordinary movie, but it's vanished off the face of the Earth. If anyone remembers it, please share what you thought about it -- so long as you don't include any spoilers. XD

(as you can see, they booted out the brontosaurus, stegasaurus, and whatever that thing is that's holding the map. XD)

Toondisney? Hmm, I didn't know that movie was still being aired. Anyway, I know the story has something to do with a wish machine, and believe it or not, it really was a popular children's wish to see real live dinosaurs back then. It's always been one of my childhood favorites.

Yeah, they still air it sometimes. If you have direct TV, that is where you can get channels such as that

I'm not a technical expert, but I do have cabel. I'm not sure if I have Toondisney, but I do have the Disney CHANNEL. Lol. Bonk me on the head if I'm talking about the two same things.

-ish bonked- :eye:

I know. They'd only show it once in a blue moon...just because it's old, that doesn't make it bad. Kinda like Balto. So who's your favorite dinosaur? I hear the Pteradactyl (If memory serves me correctly, I think her name's Elsie) is also the popular one...next to Rex of course. XD Everyone loves Rex.

I like them all :D I like Twebe cause he is funny

I found his real name is literally "Dweeb". Haha!! I guess that's the green one, right? XD The actual name of the dinosaur escapes me... Something I can just hit myself over, because part of the erason why Spielberg made this film was to provide an alternative movie for kids who weren't permitted to see his first Jurrasic Park, which was created at roughly the same time.

Another interesting fact, James Horner also helped to write the scores in We're Back, as he did for Balto... ^^

That's another thing. I heard the music in this movie was also very nice. There's a soundtrack I'd want to get my greedly little hands on -- along with the ACTUAL MOVIE, of course... XD

I think the main dinos' names are

Dweeb (green)
Woog (blue)
Elsa (purple)
and of course Rex.

I always liked Elsa and Dweeb.

I think this movie was okay. To me, that Professer Screweyes dude had to be one of the stupidest villians in history

Now, that, I'd kinda have to agree with. I suppose they just needed an antagonist whose character is the exact opposite of his brother's, who of course has to be a protagonist. One is an inventor, the other's a circus ring leader. What accomplishments. XDDD
