Animation Source Forums

What type of conventions do you like? What ones have you gone to, if any? Have you met any famous people there, and if so, who?

Well, as for me, I like anime cons the best. I haven't gone to any yet, but I plan to go to one in a few months. I'm gonna either go to TandokuCon in November, or New York Anime Festival in December. At TandokuCon, I know that the following anime VAs will be there, and I definitely hope to meet some of them.

Johnny Yong Bosch(Kiba from Wolf's Rain, Claus Valca from Last Exile)
Colleen Clinkenbeard(Rose Thomas and Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist)
Aaron Dismuke(Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist)
Crispin Freeman(Tsume from Wolf's Rain)
Kyle Hebert(Vato Falman from Fullmetal Alchemist, Kiba from Naruto)
Vic Mignogna(Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist, Kurz Weber from Full Metal Panic, Dark from DNAngel)

Of course, Vic's at the top of my list, and the one that I'll most likely be able to talk to. he's incredibly friendly with all of his fans, it's incredible.

Went to AnthroCon 2007 and saw many of my friends there from across the country (and Europe), unfortunately, I broke my lens connector to my Canon Rebel and therefore, not taking any photos. ):

Planning to go to AnthroCon 2008 in June, 2008. Hopefully, I won't be irresponsible enough to cause $314 of damages to my camera.

Then also I travel to random conventions like the Detroit Auto Show, HAMFest (amateur radio conventions), and Lub Dub and Splash, hosted by my mother's work.
