This is very sad. And the scary thing was my parents wanted to go there for the Twins game THAT NIGHT. Thank God we didn't and I am still alive. But I am keeping all the victims and the city in my prayers. This truly was a horrible disaster.

This was like... "Wow". I was all freaking out. XD I would have never gotten in a car again if I was there and survived. O_o It would just freak me out. XD Maybe I'm a 'coward' like that, but all well. ;D I'm me nonetheless. I first saw this when I got online. The browser opens to an AOL homepage, and it has the news and stuff on it. When I saw it, I was like "O_O !!!!!!" So I checked it out, finding out more about what happened. The biggest story with it, so far, is the School Bus. Which they said was yellow, on the video, when its actually orange. XB But anyways. I even saw a video of the bridge collapsing. O_o It was freaky.

I mean, if I was afraid of driving in cars... think how I'll be now. XD

It's tragic. Every time I watch the news the death and injury tolls keep rising. My heart and sympathy goes out to the families effected. By the way, did they ever specify exactly why it collapsed?

I heard about the disaster. It's just horrible for those people. We talked about it at dinner and those missing people will always be missing. Just so sad...

That was a very nasty disaster that may nave been preventable. my deepest sympathy to those who have lost love ones or been severely injured.
However I think it was very lucky that only 5 people died, (last I heard) in that situation it could of been 50.

I'm so sorry this happened. It must have been truly petrifying for those on the bridge. Maybe we didn't do enough? Did the heat have somthing to do with it? I have a lot of questions, but for right now I say this:
The victums of the bridge diaster are in my prayers, just as the Virgina Tech or the 9/11 victums are.

So they say.

The bridge was undergoing some fixes. I know why it happened, though.

The road paving equipment over loaded it.
