Did anyone hear about this? Scientists think that the zebrafish, which can regenerate damaged retinas, may hold the cure for blindness. It also could potentially help repair other damage to the retinas to improve vision or cure other eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration.

WOW! That's the best(One of)discovery ever! It's so wodnerful we can have a cure for being blind.

Well, it isn't for certain that it's a real cure yet. The just think that this may be a clue as to how to cure it. Blindness might not be cureable. This might not give your sight back entirely. Of course, there's the possiblitiy that the scientists are wrong and this is simply a false alarm.

There isn't a cure for blindless, as far as I know, but you can fix this. You can get transplants and stuff... I mean, I believe, Hellen Keller's teacher was once blind. So, obviously it is fixable. =/ But again, I dont really know. XD I've only seen the movie once on TV about it.

But that would be cool. I mean, they figure I will go blind if I dont wear my glasses. Which, I dont right now.. 'cause I can't. I need new ones, and we cant afford that. =/ So technically, this would be helpful for me in the future, if this is a possible cure. Although, I have to admit, I do not think being blind would be so bad. I mean, it could be worse, eh? You could be blind AND deaf. Or something worse! O:

well maybe it will cure/restore/improve sight, let's hope so, blindness is such a horrible disability. Becoming blind is one of my fears
If it did work it could greatly improve the life of thousands, and there still is laser treatment too.
unfortunately these things take time-years maybe.
And what about guide dogs?
