So I'm a gamer I love games that are "twitch" action, meaning that action is usually fast-paced. I have a love/hate relationship games that are like Final Fantasy or RPG games. How do you guys deal with the "untwitchiness" of RPGs

As what Dingo said, I love RPG games like Final Fanstasy as well. I think Final Fantasy has action, just maybe not the same action as a game like Battlefield would. Final Fantasy has a deep, deep, story line, and there is suspense, along with its own kind of action.

Now, as for that "twitch" I really don't understand what you mean. Most games that I know of have action, it's just a different kind of action. Above I mentioned Battlefield, which is war action, with many players, so the guns and vehicles and planes really add to the feeling of "war action." Now with, say, sports games, there is action involved, but once again it is different. Sometimes it is team-based action, where a team must co-operate with the ball, in order to score. In games like racing, the action involved his trying to get up to first any way possible, and how to stay in first. One of my favorite racing games is the Mario Kart series, and that adds a few extras in terms of action. There are traps, there are boost panels, and there are items. The items' abilities are fairly diverse, ranging from attack items to items that boost your cart. As for RTS games, the action is usually all there. You build a base, manage an army, attack your enemy, defend your base, conquer key areas on a map, etc. Some RTS games you don't build a base, or some of the other components I mentioned are missing, but that's besides the point. Most games have their own type of action.
