I'm a huge Stephen King fan. That doesn't mean I can't be disturbed by Mufasa's death scene XP. Yes, Cujo is great, I've read it at least twice. If you're looking for more good King, I'd direct you to...
The Shining---> King at his most frightening. Had me scared in broad daylight, in the middle of my kitchen.
The Stand--->King's epic 1200 page novel peopled with literally dozens of characters. The post apocalyptic world is worth the price of admission. Randel Flagg becomes important later on as well...
The Dark Tower Series--->A departure from normal. This is King's magnum opus, a seven book series about Roland the Gunslinger and the saving of the worlds within worlds. Much of this world is referenced in other works. Not scary, especially, but if you like fantasy, it doesn't get better than this.
Desperation--->Again, awesome work. A huge, murderous cop, a demon, and the Nevada desert combine for an awesome read!
Hearts in Atlantis--->Again, not especially scary, but a moving look at the 1960's and its impact. A wonderful, powerful read.
Christine--->A possessed, unstoppable car running over people. What more do you need to know?
Misery--->A short, but intensely disturbing look at mania and helplessness as a berserk ex-nurse keeps a novelist trapped in her house.

I haven't read Cujo and I can barely remember seeing the movie, although I'm sure I've seen at least part of it. If I can find it at the library when I return my currently borrowed DVDs, I will read it. It looks chillingly awesome.
I like Stephen King, and I love being scared. I just finished reading Pet Sematary and it was GOOD. I'm going to watch that movie tonight. I've got The Shining and Fire-Starter by King in my basement, and I hope to read those when I get a chance.
