I suppose I've done that, right? I'm really sorry, I didn't realised it was copyright. I thought that you could use them in a roleplay so long as you don't claim them as your own. I'm wrong I guess.

I know, It's so anoying, can't peple use their own chars?..... Aparently not then. People are to lazy just to think up thier OWN name and OWN char TaiChi, you just used the theme, but did not coptright it to yourself, the main char was yours anyway.

I do use my own characters (e.g Wolufu, Lunar and Ice) but sometimes I like to use people like: Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribbean.
I absolutley hate people who steal other characters, and I would never ever do something like that.

Taichi, its not a rule, its a rate. selene was ranting about this. it means she doesnt like it and it bothers her.

TaiChi- as long as you don't claim it to be your character, and give credit to who created it, it's legal to use. It may tick off other people, but you can't please everyone.

Of course, they can request you refrain from using their character, at which point, by law, you must cease and desist using said character. Failing to cooperate will lead to a lot of trouble, and a potential lawsuit if the other party has the means....

god do i find that annoying..i mean i have based my rps around the pridelands..and mentioned the TLK characters... i never RPED as them.... that's sorta like stealing characters if you think about it. somebody took the time and $$$ to make characters up, and design them. why should somebody else take credit for original work?
that's sorta like Timon stealing ideas from Pumbaa. lol
