All right, we all have artists on our favorites. But, there is always a small handful of artists that we favor opposed to the rest of our list. Well, I was figuring we'd give the fans a place to give them props (or, comments). I know there is a place in the galleries for comments, but this one is different.

-Who is your favorite Artist?
-What do you like about their style, their characters?
-Why did you favorite this artist?

Three simple questions, but you can answer any/all/more of them if you like. :] Just a simple thing of "Why do you like this artist?". Enjoy!

Livy is a wonderful artist with terrific, original ideas. Her characters all have interesting stories, looks, and personalities. Her style has changed so little, which makes everything more enjoyable; we don't have to worry about an eye-sore of a weekly changing style. Let alone, her real-life personality it certainly joyous. She's a wonderful person and a great friend. Even though she's "Emo", you won't be able to identify her as if she doesn't tell us. She has wonderful banes/werewolves that I favor.

Balto_Sis:
Another someone with a terrific character ability. Her style has changed a little, with a small amount of my help and critique, for the best. She's gaining prospective on her art and characters, a desireable trait for an artist (self improvement). She is a great friend, someone I feel I can trust majorly with my personal problems and secrets. She is very friendly and accepting. She is interested in her artistic improvement, something to smile upon. She is willing to learn and very happy for [nicely given] critiques. Kudos!

Night:
Night's art has always been a favorite. Her style is so realistic, and she definately has my envy. Her art is always spunky and original, with marvelous detailed work. I highly recommend her art for your enjoyment. :] Even though her scanner is a butcher (like mine), her art is still wonderfully made. She has marvelous anatomy and attention to the smallest detail; such as lines on a tree and fur shading in a realistic picture.

DragonDrawer:
A fantastic artist. Who else can color with markers so wonderfully? I have always envied his work, because, though the style isn't drop-dead, it's eye candy. He's overall a great person, very friendly. I have adored his art ever since I found the website; and I have seen some definate improvements (though, not many, but better). It's a shame that he can't post more.

She's a favorite of everyone, no? Her style doesn't look like something special, but it's unique. Her characters are all original and creative. People who use her style just can't figure themselves out! Cat, though people think she is/can be rude, is a pretty cool person. I've had her on my favorite artists list from day one of my membership here.

Snowboarder Doby:
Doby is a great, opinionated friend. She's got her own style for everything, and I respect her greatly for that. She's got strong ethics and wonderous, colorful characters that I enjoy sheerely. Her drawing style is all in her own, realistic with a chunk of cartoon. This is something I give many kudos to, because in doing this the style is her own (at least on this site, and from what I've seen, it IS her style). She is fairly funny and optimistic (compared to my pessimism, she is).


All artists like critiques, but only the helpful ones. No one likes comments "I hate this picture because you didn't do this the way I like it..." and so on. Helpful things such as "that's a great pic! But, some shading will add some dimension to it..." are tolerated and accepted.

Do NOT "bash" someone else's favorite artist(s), that's rude to the fan and the artist. Let alone, it can cause some trouble. So please, don't say "I have that artist, this one pwns all!" or anything like that. This is opinion, not debation. So please, be polite and respect others' preferences.

I agree with everything you said Kirada!! All of those artists deserve props except.. maybe me. XD But I'm happy you included me! ^^ I just have a few people to add.

Kirada:
Kirada is an amazingly detailed artist. Her very clean, dark lines earn my envy. She gives great, down-to-earth critiques and is almost always truthful. I believe her hard work deserves more faves. So... Kudos to Kirada!!!

Kahvie:
Kahvie's cartoony, well-shaded style makes is almost professional. Her style is very original but still holds a good anatomy. She also has great characters with very detailed backgrounds and personalities. Not to mention her awsome comics! Nice work Kahvie!

I'll only post my favourite favs...I know, sounds odd but I have tons, XD.

Frigid_Inferno: I love their style, their fur looks really good and very realistic, they do traditional aswell as digital art and apparently they're legally blind aswell which makes their level of skill even more impressive.

Draco: I love her wolves, her style is unusual and nice to look at, again the traditional and digital media is good and she has interesting characters.

Kahvie: Again an unusual style that's pleasing to look at, I like the detail one the chars and the designs are well thought-out, her comics are also really good with amazing BGs and characters that fit well with a good storyline.

Dragon Drawer: I love his anthro's, many anthro's lack good design and often look awkward but his always look good and he does complicated poses instead of sticking to the familiar, I also love the anatomy, they look great and the coloured versions also rock.

Katikut: I love her drawings, Balto and TLK, she has really amazing BGs and the characters are clean and coloured well, I also love the different effects the BGs have on the characters and how well they fit.

There are many more but I don't have time to post them right now, I'll do that some other time.

Her style is funny and great. Her characters & fanfics are original, and so is her art. Also a touch of sarcasm, which adds some spice. Before I was a member, I would read her fan fics, and the art just made it better. Of course, she may be a tiny rude, but I try to ignore that, since it isn't towards me. I can't help but want more!

Catwings:
Her style is unique, and always has a hint of funny. These things are what I like, and the way she made Saba was a bit of a surprise. She knows what colors to put, and the markings are different and original. Her drawings, to me, say Come back tomorrow and see my new drawings! But not like an add, just out of pure enjoyment. After Catwhohas14tails, it's my favorite gallery.

Kelev:
Her style is much like Balto's, and that's what I like about her drawings. They show pure happiness, and also has humor. The commments of each pic sometimes adds more fun. I was starting to wonder if I would ever find a gallery that made Balto easily. And the shading was another thing I liked. I have difficulties shading, and she made it more, movie like. Which is something I enjoyed.

Crystal huskie:
Her drawings look much like Piccaso's, and that is what caught my attention. It's colorful also, which is another point. I love how she does the characters, like the Nina loves playing ball one. It's cute, and happy, and funny too. These things are what I like, and galleries like the ones I just mentioned catch my attention. Another thing about Crystal huskie, is that her art looks like, art! Those that should be on museum. And don't get me started about the backgrounds!

First of all, I am only naming a few of my favorite artists. Believe me, there's much more XD

Kodiwolf (aka Koeyohte): Her style is amazing, as is her art. She can draw something with a very spiritual feel, and other times she can draw comical things. Her wolves are drawn both realistically and her own style.

Spirit_the_Cat: Her style is very unique, and her art always makes me do a double-take She uses backgrounds that are simply breathtaking, and her details are wonderful.

Bluecougar: Wow. Her style has improved so much since she joined BS. Her new art look fantastic, as do her old ones. She also is great at facial expressions and backgrounds.

Frigid Inferno: Fantastic artist. Frigid draws her art very realistically, and her coloring skills never cease to amaze me. It's hard to fathom that she just does this with colored pencils! I would buy her pictures if I could.

And that's all, but I have much more favorite artists!

Hmm, my favorite artists... I really like any artist who has their own feeling in their art, or their own style... such as, but not limited to:

LivyLou, Silver Deni, Snowboarder Doby, Apri-werewolf, Balto_Tracer, Kodifan, Wolf-Lion, Rarakie, Ray, Agwolfcp (Kyrahlynn), Kahvie, Sytana, Dragondrawer, African Thunder, Amber_Sea.

Those are a lot of my favorite artists, but certainly not all of them! Each has their own style, and wonderful ideas, and they are able to incorporate imagination with realism.

Amazing Idea Kirada... Anywho, heres my favorites.

Hecate: Her style is SO amazing, and her characters are amazingly unique. Her Bgs are purely wonderful. I just love it.

Pample: Of course, Everyone loves her. Her anatomy is GREAT, and her characters are simple, but yet amazing.

Kirada: Her style is so completely unique and realistic. Her characters a so FREAKING awesome and her poses are wonderfull.

Silver Deni: I look foward to seeing her are everyday. Shes got an amazing cartoony style thats inspired me in many ways. Her characters are simple, but their personalitys are awesome.

Catwhohas14tails: xD Cats art is just so awesome. Nothing complex, very simple, which makes it so different from the others. Her chars are just soo amazingly put together. ^^

Draco: Amazing. Her style is very Unique and her chars are just so HAWT :]

theres MANY MANY MANY more. But heres my few favorites <3 You all inspire me in many ways <3

All those artists are awesome, I just have a few to add

Majalo: Majalo's art is awesome! Phantom and Sharkbait are two of the most unique and beautifull characters I have seen on BS (Although I love everyone elses characters aswell). Majalo's style is unique and really nice to look at.

Jodi-Lion: Jodi has improved soo much, her characters are well thought out and her realistic style is getting better and better everytime I see it! Also Jodi is a really nice person and if your upset about something she is the person to look for! She looks out for her friends and if you ever want to adopt a character, you wont be dissapointed with Jodi's!

DakotaWereWolf: Her style is getting better and better all the time, she is living proof that practice makes perfect! I have watched her art get better and although I loved her art before it totally rocks now! Dakota has unique characters, like Guitar, Dana, Ratt and many more! I can honestly say I am hooked to her art!

I am sure I have loads more but either people have already said them or I can't think of them right now! XDDD If I think of any others I will edit my post ;D

Beautifull Disaster: I love here charries they are very creative and her posisions of here charries are awsome. She is also a kind person asking if you would like a pic drawn as a request. She is a person who likes to get her point across to other people even if its wrong or right , and thats not it the best thing about here is that she is a great friend.

rayness: Rayness dosent draw mych anymore but she was a talented artist with many skills.She loved to do arttraids and requests and cared aboutothers very much.

Kirada: Is an awsome drawer with lots of great pics, she is great with here deataile and has a great style. Kirada has many great ideas and great tallent, but the best thing about kirada is here fanfic sneek peecks they are amazing.

Heidisart: has a strong creativity thats why she creats so many charries even when she dosent meen to. She is great with here modiling dogs and painting. i love here charries they are so creative and i love here style its so cute.
