Kinda obviouse. The town wouldn't have any medicine to give to the sick kids so they owuld die. Well i g2g im gunna watch Balto again.

Well life would be different then the kids would of died and there families broken, Balto wouldnt of been a hero with no movie and we wouldnt be here on this forum.

All the childern & some adult would have died & Balto fans wouldn't be here today.This site & other Balto sites wouldn't exist & no Balto book would not exist so I'm glad that Balto made it back to Nome.Balto is my HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Balto didn't make it then the town of Nome would have died, unmaintained the town would crumble and rot to the ground, the small weight of the town would be removed thus knocking the balance of the Earth off axis. The polar ice caps would have melted and we would have global flooding on our hands. Much of the human race would drown, some will float and the hill billies with their webbed toes would have to repopulate the planet. Obviously with that gene puddle the human race would die out quickly as there would be no road kill to eat (the roads would be flooded) and instead dolphins would cross breed with slugs to create dolugs and all (except basking sharks) would tremble under their slimey wrath. The only land mammals to survive this apocalypse would be giraffes as their long necks keep them above the sea level and possibly girbils because they were planning this all along waiting to take over the world.

So as you can see it was vital Balto made it back.
