Well my cat Harley won't go upstairs anymore he used to sit on the step and watch what was going on upstairs. But now he won't go up their whenever he is at the bottom of the stairs he looks like hes defending himself. And he won't stop sitting in front of the computer. I'm not sure why he won't sit on the stairs so I need some help.

He is still a kit (short for kitten) though

There could be many reasons for him to not sit in the stairs anymore, something could of spoked him making him feel unsafe to go near where he use to sit also it is posible he in some way hurt himself while going up the stairs making him fear them. There is way to many reasons for this behaver, what you can try and do is place treats or something that he likes at the top of the stairs and watch his reaction carefully then maybe i can get a better idea.

This had also happened to me with my kitten and soon found out that something had spoked her with made her to refuse to even go into any of the room upstair.

Maybe a bad expeirience, has he ever fall while trying to go up the stairs? what aj said. it sounds like something may be spooking him.

Dose Harley eat dry food? If she dose you could try putting a bit on each step, and a few pieces at the top. you may have to repeat this, hopefully she will soon regard it as a 'good' place.
Be careful not to overfeed her.
