Rummaging through all the rants in this section, something I'm sure you all were bound to have noticed is the number of people who TOTALLY agree with what a ranter says. They can be all, "Oh, I'm with you 100% all the way!!" and you can get a hundred more comments with the same impact. You got rants that attack spam, art theft, mod issues, and all sorts of other things, and naturally, you're only gonna get a bunch of people who will ditto what you have to say...
...so what I can't get is why it's still happening. All you fakers out there will know what I'm talking about. Oh, yes, kids. For example, there are people I've seen who will look up a rant on spam and be all, "Yes, spamming should dig itself a hole to the center of the Earth and BURN." Then, they will go out, and do the very thing they, themselves, wanted to condemn.
Just stop pretending already. If you're a spammer, you're a spammer. If you're an art theif, you're an art thief. You all know what you are...but if you wanna play dumb about it, then that also makes you a hypocrite.
So I ask you all, PLEASE -- you can hardly call these things rants anymore. It's more like complaining. XP DO NOT post something you don't mean. If you want to say something, MAKE SURE it is the truth, the WHOLE truth, and NOTHING BUT the truth.
Oh yes...and on a little side rant here...we all know your rights. Everyone's free to rant as much as their little hearts desire. And yes...other people ARE allowed to agree and disagree with you. So what puzzles me is why some ranters put things like "Love me, hate me, do whatever." at the end of every rant. Sorry if that was kind of a dumb thing to add...I'm not into this whole shebang. ^^

Iv noticed this too, good word play by the way. But, yes people will be making rants that most people here on Baltosource would agree with, because duh, its against the rules. Art theft for eaxample, all poeple are gonna agree that it needs to be stopped yet after that matter has already been cleared up, people contiueously make the rant. So, in conclusion, shouldnt making rants like this be considered spam if not already?

Claymore wrote: Anyway.... A reply like: OMG I AGREE WITH U 100% is clear proof of the laziness. People don't want to think about it. They just see few lines and write something like above just to make themselves visible.
But on the other hand... show me the one who will tell you the whole truth? And are you aware of the fact there is no truth? There isn't the thing like the truth or the lie. It's for longer explaining, but shortly... I wouldn't say: Tell the whole truth. But: Tell what do you really feel.
By 'truth', I mean your honest opinion. Of course, there's no way to keep everyone in check (I'd loose my feeling of security if there was O_o), so the main thing I'm trying to say here is just to say what you mean, and mean what you say. :]

There has to be!! People are very good at identifying the problem, but we lack in understanding what needs to be done so it won't happen again. THAT'S what makes a rant a rant. No, if people just look at a problem, and tell everyone how much it ticks them off, it won't solve anything.

On the other hand, problems noted in rants are hardly ever problems that are worth solving. They're mostly just people expressing an non-solvable nuisance, and there isn't really anything you can do about those except for agreeing or not agreeing.
ps: finaly! Someone who speaks out against 'Love me, hate me, do whatever'! That phrase is so annoying!

But I believe the majority of the problems mentioned in the rant board can be solved....or at least, contained. All people need to do is take a closer look at what they're doing, and think of how it'd effect the other person. A lot of rants can be turned into suggestions that way. Yes, that is called SMS-talking, and it is indeed against the rules, though a few small abbreviations are still allowed, such as OMG, LOL, and G2G. For a more descriptive explanation of what's tolerated, look here.

Not to disagree oh mighty one, but there is a difference between SMS and abbreviation. Actually they are different things....to be more precise the correct way to use lol would be l.o.l., every letter standing for a specific word. Get what I mean? Where as every1 is something different....1 being used for the actual word "one". So everyone that thinks that LOL, OMG, GTG are SMS get it through your head that they're not. Thank you and good night!

I really don't know the point of that "love me, hate me" crap...I think it's just to make themselves sound sassier or something. I dunno, but yeah, it is annoying....
