I'm sure some of you that know me are thinking "What? Tibby likes a HUNTING game?!" But yes. Yes I do.
This is a very fun game. It does have the strategic part - which is what makes me drawn to it. In this game you can hunt anything from deer to bears. From cougars to rinos (though that is illegal in real life).
The hunter has just become the HUNTED! The next evolution of hunting has taken a dangerous turn. Get ready for hunting action unlike anything you've ever encountered, with "kill or be killed" consequences that will leave you trembling at the knees and fearing for your life.
Players will be confronted with a series of hunting situations that will enhance their skills and help them develop a sense of identity with their on-screen hunter. Upon successful completion of the various challenges, chartered hunts and more challenges will become available. You'll earn money for your successful adventures along the way and will be able to use that money to buy a collection of hunting gear that would make any hunter envious.
The real stars of this game however, are the animals. They will engage you with more realistic -- and often aggressive -- behavior. You might encounter a mountain lion while hunting mule deer in the canyons of Wyoming, or be forced into a precarious position to get a good shot at a Kodiak brown bear. In addition to your primary weapon, you'll also have a pistol or a knife that can be drawn and used in self defense when an animal attacks. Rugged mountains, canyons and ravines, dense forests and rolling hills with water boundaries all will present unique and challenging obstacles to test your hunting skills.

There are quite a few differnt options, too, which makes it all the more exciting!
27 big game animals to hunt 12 exotic locations throughout the world Modes of gameplay featuring: *Quick Hunt *Action Hunt *Career Hunt 1000's of authentic gear options including: *Rifles *Handguns *Bows *Crossbow *Knives *Various Scopes
Not only do you have those things, but you can also have different vehicles! Which makes finding differnt animals you are 'hunting' a lot easier.
For people who haven't heard of this, you should check it out. It is a great stress relief. LOL And if you want to hunt, this is the best way...! Because you don't really kill anything and you don't get hurt, either!

Ohmigawd, Tibb! I love this game! I have the PS2 version! I found it at a garage sale for 3 bucks. (What would the world do without garage sales XD) Quote: It is a great stress relief. Agreed

I know that this is a pretty old topic nonetheless, but anyways, I'd like to say my 2 cents about this one in particular- 1.) I could assault an adult, full-grown grizzy bear with a 5" pocketknife at close range and actually WIN EVERY SINGLE TIME; if the bear was lucky enough to hit a few times to put me on the verge of death, guess what happened??? Simple- I just whip out my handy-dandy, instant-healing, highly futuristic, Halo-esque health kit and heal myself back to full health again, INSTANTLY!!!!! Eventually, the bear just gets OWNED!!!!! 2.) One time a loooooong while back, I was playing a "Career Hunt" game type in Alaska, and hunting for just one type of animal- a nice, big ol' bull moose!!! Being Alaska and all, I also had 4 more additional animals to deal with- a caribou, a Kodiak brown bear, a gray wolf, and *gasps and gulps* a mountain lion. After I lost my first encounter with the moose (he ran off to someplace else), I just so-happened to stumble across the gray wolf- I saw him downrange around 200 yards or so away off in the distance. Then, I was surprised to see him (the wolf) chasing after the caribou; I then watched and followed them as I thought: "Oh, cool, an animal preying on another one; how sweet!!!!!" Eventually, after a long 2 minute chase, the wolf finally pinned the caribou into a corner, lunged at its throat, and killed it, instantly. Stunned in the "thrill of the moment", so to speak, I gladly watched the wolf begin to gorge on the caribou's lifeless corpse, when suddenly, out of nowhere, here comes Mr. Mountain Lion to spoil and utterly ruin the wolf's victorious moment by, and to my VERY sad dismay, unwantingly butting in on the innocent wolf's ongoing feast, sneaking up from behind him (the wolf), and then finally pouncing on the now-surprised and somewhat defenseless wolf and biting him in the throat, thus ending the wolf's life prematurely. Already shocked and angered , what the mountain lion did next was absolutely appalling to me- he releases the wolf's body from his grasp, roars and hisses loudly, as if to say:"Ha, ha, ha; take THAT you stupid little wolfy, you!!!!!!", and actually starts to devour the dead wolf's flesh, EVEN WITH A FRESHLY KILLED CARIBOU LOCATED DIRECTLY ALONGSIDE HIM. Now EXTREMELY furious like you wouldn't believe to be possible , I then run towards the mountain lion head-on, cock my twelve-gauge, and happily feed the mountain lion a faceful of buckshot, and as if to say: "HA; IN YOUR FACE, YOU LOSER, WASTE-OF-SPACE SCUMBAG, YOU!!!!!", if ya' know what I mean. Worst of all, however, since I had not a tag for that vile, demonic mountain lion, the stupid, so-called "warden" boots me from the remainder of the hunt, even after I already spent over $500 on equipment, wasted nearly 15 minutes of my day for nothing, and, worst of all, have to eal with the emotionally painful agony of seeing a poor, little wolfy get massacred and partially eaten, and by none other than my most hated animal of ALL TIME, a vermiciously evil MOUNTAIN LION. So now, what do YOU all think about that??? -Charlie A. Wolf.
