Lately there's been a lot of HOOHAH about "WHICH PUP IS WHICH!?" in Balto 2: Wolf Quest... well, I'd ask "DOES IT MATTER!?" but apparently it does The arguments or "discussions" I've seen have been about which pup is Saba, which one is Dingo, which one's Kodi, what's the red-faced pup's name, what's the red-and-white-Aleu-twin's name? Its been going ON and ON like this FOREVER and this is why I'm contemplating about where to put this topic.

First off, "WHICH PUP IS SABA!?" Most people have argued that this pup

is Saba and this pup

is Dingo, according to the ending credits of the movie (because in the credits, they often have characters in the order in which they speak and "Dingo" spoke first) There's your "Saba is blue-eyed" proof.



HOWEVER, people often argue that this pup

is Dingo because in the next scene here

the "red-and-white-Aleu-twin" is obviously gone. It would also say that Dingo was "blue-eyed" because every pup in that pic (with the exception of Aleu) has brown (well, dark-colored) eyes and has dark-colored eyes from that part of the scene to the end of that scene.



HOWEVER, later in that scene our "Dingo" has returned

and again, all of the visible pups have brown eyes. So that can also conclude that "Dingo" has blue eyes (even though, we can clearly see that "Aleu's twin" is no longer blue-eyed like it is in the previous picture of it, but if it were still blue-eyed in that scene, we would be able to see it as clearly as Aleu's in any other scene, no?).

SO, with all of those brown-eyed Jenna clones, how can people possibly say which pup is Kodi? Well, people have officially dubbed this pup

Kodi, for quite silly reasons (personally): to use in their music videos about Kodi or just because Kodi is their favorite character and they want him to be more than a lame cameo.

So, we "know" (or rather DON'T know) who Aleu, Kodi, Dingo, and Saba are...Then who the heack are the other two!? The only ones left is the one not dubbed Dingo and this "red-faced" pup!

People have argued that the "red-faced" pup and "Aleu's twin" are "Denali" and "Yukon." But as you could see in the previous pictures, with so much INCONSISTENCY in this movie, AND that their names were NEVER ONCE MENTIONED in any of the three Balto movies, how can you even say for a FACT those are what the pups' names are??? You can't. Because those two, along with "Kiona" and "Dakota" and all of THESE OTHER fan characters viewtopic.php?t=13431 or THESE viewtopic.php?t=15280 (OMG LOOK AT ALL THE DIFFERENT SABA'S!!! ) they're just made up ADULT versions of those characters, each with a DIFFERENT background, each with DIFFERENT personalities, each CREATED by DIFFERENT people. Its the same thing with Balto's father, Steele's parents, Jenna's parents, Steele's mate, Balto's sister, Kaltag's father's step-brother's cousin's former roommate! And YET...people still are arguing about which pup is which! Not only does it not matter, but they won't freaking shut up about it and its driving me and a lot of other people looney! And most of the time its the same stupid person making the same stupid argument because they think they're right all the time (trust me, because they even say so in their stupid signature -_-)!

So as soon as you see someone else's version of "Dingo," "Saba," "the red-faced pup," "Aleu's twin," or "Balto's other child," just remember, this is a FANDOM and NOTHING IS OFFICIAL! So take your "This pup's name is Pete because I read it somewhere" proof of "fact" and stick it where the sun don't shine.

Move this if you must, but it IS a rant after all.

Ugh. I hate this. With a passion. If you can't figure out that it's just a fan character... just... shut up. Go preach to someone who won't think you're crazy.

So many mistakes in baltoII:Wolf Quest I can't belive it. They Did the crapiet work I've ever seen in my life when they did this movie. I'd rather watch a movie about Kodi and Kurby in a relashon ship then watch this.

I never even knew which pup was supposed to be which apart from Aleu anyway (She was fairly obvious), I prefer it when all the other pups are Fan-Chars, can you imagine how boring it'd be if they'd stated what each of the pup's names were?
But basically, yeah, I hate it...actually I can't be bothered with it, just look at one of those pics you posted, apart from Aleu, every single one looks like Kodi (or possibly Jenna, which ever) how the heck can people positively identify each one of those as a specific character?

That annoys me so much. I've even read on Wikipedia that the 'pup with the red bridge is in fact called Denali*.'
I mean, just because someone somewhere gave it that name does not mean it's official.

Anyways yeah this is annoying. What in the world does it matter they're all dogs do they really need names?

hey great rant, yeah some people seem to get mixed up about the red faced pup, which in the picture that he has returned, its a blooper, he has aleu's facial markings, only in red.

I've seen a lot of these arguements, I even created a topic for these fan pups and got verbally attacked by users saying that I stole a personally created character. I thought it was really dumb.

People who argue about this probably have a lot of free time on thier hands, and since they do, they can come up with thier own character. But until that day, we have universal's characters, other fan created characters, Cat's Kiona, and my Denali as the littermates, so for now I think that ends this arguement.

Yeah, Cat. It is annoying and kinda useless, but knowing which is which helps with fan fics, and fan arts. A good article, and I have to admit, I was confused, cause maybe I would make one about them, or included them. XD This thing also drives me crazy, and I would prefer it all go in one forum or something.
