Aniu's Death.

I think Aniu just died of old age. And just because she related to Balto doesn't mean he had to be white. Maybe Balto had a grey/brown husky father.

By the way, this would be better off in the Balto 2 section. :wink:

In fact, I don't think there is any real clue in the first film that his mother died...Even if it's the most logical guess.

Well in one of my fanfics I wrote the way I think she died. click here to see it. I had had a ton of versions before I decided on my final one, though. One of which had something to do with a hunter, I think. But yeah. XD We'll never know for sure though. ;D

people who write stories usually make it up themselves. like the names of kodi and aleu's brother and sisters, its a thing that will never be known. :wink:

In my fan fic her pack was suffering from sickness and she had just had her pups. Then a wolf found her way into the pack's territory and was held off by some of the pack but she soon defeated them. She attacked Aniu almost killing her then Aniu's brother came to hold off the other wolf. Aniu had to take one pup because she could run without having to stop because of her being hurt and stuff. So she found a place to stay but the wolf came back and killed her and Balto was found by Boris. The end =D

Aniu's death might have happened when Balto was just a wolf pup/cub,which was probably why he was protective of Aleu.

My theory is that she was shot in the back while trying to protect a very young Balto. Here's the pic:

in this time period it was well before the first aerial gunning act was passed so I'd say my thoughts are exactly..

And you know if that wasn't immediate then it was probably like going on a trip through hell and then back again beforeso.. I stop now cause I don't like the idea of it but it really seems like a logical awnser..

I just wish the ******* running the local government would do us all a favor and put a end to
this madness before it's too late for everyone's own good if you catch my drift.. and lets remain on topic and hijack this thread because this is a great debate thread...

Redwolf03 depicted her as a "halfa" (half living, half ghost) like Danny Phantom once. But somehow I find it hard to picture Aniu saying, "I'm going ghost!" lol
